The corresponding holes have been pluggedor, filled and sanded. I will close this and try once more to post an update. Thanks for your patience. 10. Jacobus, That is looking really nice! I like it . Is the cab casting very thick? Be Well Gator
  11. Sam, You could use the white hood decal. And I think it would look good as well. But I like the plain black dirty hood!!! lol But whatever you chose. I know it will look good! Be Well Gator
  12. While I do not even know who Travis is. I can't help but wonder? Did he bite off more than he could chew ? Was he qualified to take on a project like this? Or was he blinded by the Possibility of $$$$$ ? He has to realize that in the truck model community , right now his name is mud . And he might seriously regret his mistake. Aside from the possible legal problems. He could get hit by the IRS for Tax evasion ? That is major heartache in and of itself ! So if anyone hear is a friend of his. I strongly urge you. To advise hm to do his best to make things right, with those people he accepted deposits from ! Be Well Gator
  13. OMG!!!!!! Now that is something else. Some serious imagination , creativity and craftsmanship ! It is so wierd you have to like it. And I like the humor as well. Be Well Gator
  14. Sam, I like the way you have now, and with a little road grime it will be perfect Be Well Gator!
  15. Sean , Gordon, Thanks for your interest . I am having fun with this build so far . It feels really good to be back to building . Yesterday, I got a little bit of paint sprayed on the chassis . Before I started hanging air tanks and things. The chrome parts are in the Simple green being stripped. The airbags on the drive axles have been painted and then taped off. So now the axles can be sprayed . The colors are a bright yellow ( the can says medium yellow ?) . I bought it cause it looked kinda like a Cat yellow on the color top. Not even close . The cab and chassis will be yellow And a nice red for the fenders. It should come out looking pretty good? But we will see! But I am fighting the urge to put more projects on the bench ! As it stands right now I have two out of three Snap Petes open and started . And a couple of other projects that keep saying "Build me! ". Be Well Gator
  16. David, I am glad to see that you are still working on this one. The level of detail you are building into this model is just incredible. Thanks for sharing the build with us. Be Well Gator
  17. Jarda, Thanks for stopping by. Yes I have been wanting to do that for quite some time now. That and removing those ugly seams on the fuel tanks and other pieces. I have decided I am going to paint the windows black from the inside. i don't like the interior on these kits and you can't see it anyway. So I will devote my time to others tasks. Be Well Gator
  18. James, Looks like you are off to a good start on this one. I would guess that you are going in a very different direction with yours, that I am. Be Well Gator
