  1. X 's 2 As well as the rest of the truck! Be Well Gator
  2. Many thanks to those you offered their opinions on the choice of fuel tank for this build. i will use the large Revell tanks on the tridem and on the single axle I will use the Square DAF tanks. The twin screw will most likely get a larger tank than comes with the kit.. I won't be at the workbench for two weeks or so. But I will be checking the Forum and posting daily if possible Be Well Gator
  3. That is a unique concept to be sure ! I kinda like it. But I would still make the wheel base a bit more realistic. But I do like your out of the norm thinking! Be Well Gator
  4. Even though it is a diecast. It can still be a great little model project. I have not done it myself. But I know a guy on another Forum that routinely redoes die cast models. Often times making something very cool and unique. He recently made a cool dump truck, out of a not so great small firetruck model ( diecast ). Be Well Gator
  5. Thanks Guys for your opinions. I will need to strip the chrome off the big tanks and then do the body work. But I think I can make em look half way decent. Be Well Gator
  6. Terry, I say go for it. I like that look and the colors and graphics work. Be Well Gator
  7. Thanks Sam, i am still not sure which ones I will use on the tridem, the single drive will most likely get the Square DAF tanks. Just to be different. be Well Gator
  8. Here is a little update, The tool box dry fit and some expanded mesh between the frame rails. And the big fuel tanks from A Revell Pete. Now for your opinions. I am trying to decided on which fuel tanks to use, The Stock snap kit tanks. The large Revell Pete tanks Above or the square DAf tanks below? Your ideas and opinions are welcome Be Well Gator
  9. Looking good Darren, keep at it !! Be Well Gator
  10. Mike, Heinz is a great guy to deal with. If you can buy the kit. You are in for a treat. The box is full of parts. I got mine a month or so ago with no problems other than about 3 1/2 weeks for the registered package to arrive in the mail. And I live in the Philippines. So mail delays are expected ! ;-) Be Well Gator
  11. Dennis, I would think that set up on the right front fender is a big air compressor ! At least that is what it looks like to me. Be Well Gator
  12. X's 3 Those two colors should be pretty close. They work for me. Be Well Gator
  13. Tom, Congratulations ! I am glad you got your refund. But I have to wonder? Will all of the others get theirs? Will Travis return the master to the Builder ? He should . Would another reputable caster pick it up and produce the lowboy that so many of us would like to have ? I would go for one or two . If someone like Gary Wallace , Jamie would pick it up and produce the kit. Another option. A laser cut kit???? Be Well Gator
  14. Clayton, Looking real good there. I like the theme. I would build some like this except for the lack of space. You know the semi's take up a lot of room. Be Well Gator
  15. This is really coming together. The interior looks really good. Be Well Gator
  16. Interesting subject and approach. Looks like a lot of planning and scratch building coming up. Be Well Gator

  20. I see two builds here. One A-car and the Euc and possibly a trailer ?? ;-)) Be Well Gator
  21. The side by side motor fits . As there was a Eclid dozer that had the side by side motors.. I saw on when I was a kid. It was a real monster back then. Be Well Gator
  22. That is one huge beast of a truck! I like it. Be well Gator
  23. Another small update, I now have the second cab almost ready, filled in the roof holes for one air horn and two of the clearance lights on one cab The cab on the right has the round rod plugs to fill in the exhaust mounting holes. If the weather cooperates today I may get some color on the cabs? Be Well Gator
