  3. Greetings Everyone, I found this on a old back up disk. I built this model in the late 90's.Some of you may remember this from other Forums in the past. The pick up was a snap kit. I believe it was patterened after a Custom Pick up from back in the 70's. The build is meant to represent a privately owned mechanics truc.Which has been leased to gator Construction to include the services of the ownere/mechanic. I cut the custom sleeper off the pick up bed and attached it to the cab. And added a utility body from Modelhaus.Which I obtained in Atlanta at the NNLin 97' or 98'. I pirated a 4X4 chassis and modified it to fit. IT was a quick build and fun. But I admit I did not spend a lot of time on the fiddly bits. The Gator logo was obtained years ago from a conveyor manufacturer in Ft Lauderdale. The owner of the company was a Florida Gator. I like the decal because the Gator is weauing a hard hat. I asked Adam of Model Truck Mafia to make me some decals. This is another one that is up for a rebuild sometime in the future! Coments welcome and appreciated. Be Well Gator
  4. . Greetings Everyone, While going through some drawers.I found a back up disc containg some old model pictures. The models shown were built in the 70's and early 80's. most are now in the bins to be rebuilt. Most are in surprisingly good shape considering their age.And what they have been through. A move from Miami to St. Augustinein 94', from St. Aug to jacksonville in 2003', Another house move in 2005' and then to the Philippines and one house move here. And already moved to the new location here in the Phils. Sorry for the poor quality pics. These were taken long before digital cameras and computers. Enjoy, and any comments are welcome! Be Well Gator
  5. Dennis, Your work on the tracks was wlorht it. They look very good! What other electric tools do you have? Besides the sander and drill press? I have the budget minded 2" tablesaw from Micro Mark, And it has more than paid for itself over the years. i would like a belt sander and drill press and the bigger better 2' table saw. Be Well Gator
  6. KJ, The modified frame rail looks much better!! I will take one two axle and three axle with the two hole wheels and suitable tires! You know now you are going to have to do something for a load on these trailers??? Like a small no name dozer???? Be Well Gator
