I like the model building skills you are using here. And while this kind of custom/show truck is not my thing, I can still appreciate them. As for hauling a dozer with it. Good luck when you have to deliver it a few miles off the paved road!! Be Well Gator -

Glad to see another older person return to the hobby! yes our eyes are not what they used to be. Can't hear as well, and the hands aren't quite as steady as they could be. But having a hobby is good for the soul!! Nice start on this project. Be Well Gator -

The new Freightliner?
gatorincebu replied to Custom Hearse's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
A good looking truck? if you like the fast back look?? And some of the ideas are cool. practical???? Who is going to wash the solar panels? Or will they install and automated roof washer at the super truck service centers! ( aka truck stop ) Automated shifting abd GPS trip planning. I am not too keen on the shifiting thing.I see a real possibility for catastrophic failure there. They need electric motors on the trailer to help with the braking problem! I doubt that I will see it in My lifetime, but then , you never know. Be Well Gator -
Nice start on a nice model. i will be following this build. As I have the kit . be Well Gator

Truck Kits You've Scored Recently
gatorincebu replied to Superpeterbilt's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Alan, I have both the fith wheel trailer and the tag along. Both are very nice kits and go together well. However Take time to plan your build if you are going to do anything with the interior of the trailer. Be Well Gator -
Sean, I know what you mean. I have not even started looking for things yet. I have started repainting my storage cabinets and file cabinets. Will most likely get the desks painted this weekend. The area in the photo is the house I just moved out of. Photos of the new work area will be coming soon. Be Well Gator
