  2. Dennis, I have to agree with JT. And after some of our conversations. Knowing your penchant for research and attention to detail. You in my opinion are right up there with some of the better model builders. And thanks alot for the info on the suspension!! Be Well Gator
  3. Sam, The motor swap and plumbing look great! I agree with you about the front floats as well. Also like the fact that you've opened the doors on the cab. Never done that on a rig. I need to try it! be Well Gator

  6. Very nicely done box replica build! I always thought that the graphics were kinda hokey! But I do like vans. And I like that kit. It leaves lots of room for some cool detailing. Be Well Gator
  7. Doug , Good job on the van. yes those van kits are a bit of a let down. But like you said. "there is a lot of room for improvement and individuality." be Well Gator

  17. Now that is a question for others! But yes thinner than the bell wire with the insulation on it. I used to use that for the airlines on truck models. I quit doing the plumbing for two reason. One I was notenjoying it. And two back then I was not doing well finding things of a size that looked realistic. So now my trusks are detailed using paints and chalks and the like. I may venture into doing the plumbing on a truck, but who knows. You can also find some really fine wire in Radio Shack or computer stores. I will say this .I admire those that can add that kind of detail and make it look good! be Well Gator
  18. John, Good looking pick em up. Another thing you might want to try for detaing is fine wire or even nylon fishing line if it is thin enough. back in the day we would use sewing thread with gulf wax on it so it wouldn't be fuzzy!!! Be Well Gator
  19. Jim, Crazy little build. I bet is was fun! OH yeah I like the tag!!! Be Well Gator
  20. Nice looking build. To me it is more reminiscent of a 50's custom truck. OR should I say .What I remember to be like. be Well Gator
