Tom, did you use pre molded stock on the grille or do the bars individually?

Built from scratch. I built a 73 Buick Gran Sport and used that as a basis. I also did a 76 Century Pace Car and took the formal roof from that. All scratch built.

Back seat was Testor's white enamel, which is very thin. It needs another coat.
-
Just for kicks I painted the interior. White Testor's lacquer on the front seats, Tamiya TS10 French Blue on the door panels and Tamiya TS54 Light Metallic Blue on the carpeted areas. A little Molotow chrome on the trim. Ready for a dash and console.

That is incredible! Great detail. It looks like it could be on an engine stand waiting to go into a full resto.

Looks good so far!

I'll send you one and we can race to get done. I will most assuredly lose. -

Got the interior mostly done. I have to refine details and it is ready. The body is about 95% done. More refinement, add some trim and this will be ready for clay.

Where did the wheels come from? They look killer on the car. Has a nice period feel to it. -
Modelhaus resin prep
DoctorLarry replied to yellowsportwagon's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I wipe my resins down with rubbing alcohol and then wash them in dish soap. Air dry and move on. I also have used auto wax and grease remover. Quick wipe followed by another paper towel then in the dish soap bath. -

More progress. I opened up the grille area and fabbed a new one. 39 separate pieces! I modified the front bumper to fit the 75 and added the center bulge for the license plate. In back I modified the deck lid and the rear quarters to fit the 75 profile. I fabbed up a new rear filler and tail lights and modified a bumper I had from the parts box. It is coming together.

Gerald your work space looks like mine. Orderly chaos!
