  1. I'm not sure when the last time I posted on this site. I wanted this project to be a combination of an American, European, modern and old school vehicle.I cut off the rear of the 1936 Mercedes (Rommels Rod)and the rear of the Porsche (1955 Speedster). Then I combined the Porsche rear to the Mercedes front. The body is old European, the engine and suspension are from the Dodge Viper - modern American, the interior is all modern AmericanToo many scratch built pieces to list.A few are:wheels, from 12 piecesFront bumper from 6 piecesdoor panels all scratch builtchassis 95% scratch builtShe's all done - I would like to officially call her Blue DreamThanks for looking and I hope you like it.
  2. Thanks for your nice comments. I will post more soon. Nos
  3. I recently joined this forum and this is my first post. I found a resin ’55 Mac cab, hood and grill at a show. It sat for a couple years. I realized that the Mack truck model was out of my price range so I decided to Frankenstein it. I hope you Mack enthusiasts don’t cringe. I bought a Peterbuilt model at Michaels with a 50% off coupon and used the frame, wheels and engine. I scratch built many parts to fit. I wanted itg to be a car hauler for a bubbletop car that I redesigned. I am using a clear plastic egg for the bubble on the truck. I made the front fenders from a 1941 Ford. I cut them and added pieces to extend then to fit. I also lowered the front and scratchbuilt the rear fenders. I needed the Bulldog hood ornament and my friends Psychographic and towman1271 came thru. Thanks guys!! Although its not a true Mack I still needed the Bulldog for the grill. I will post the bubbletop car for the truck on a different thread. I am hoping to get it finished for NNL East. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it so far. Nosferaru
  4. Hi, I’m Dave from Hunterdon County, NJ and I’ve been building models for 45 years. I love showrods, delivery vans, trucks and motorcycles, but mainly I love cutting up plastic and creating my own builds, especially bubbletops. I am a huge Ed “Big Daddy” Roth fan. I love “off the wall” & “outside the box” builds. I’ve lurked thru this site and see some incredible talent. I will post some of my builds soon. Nosferatu
