  1. Beautiful work Ray, but the ads %%$f31(((99!!!. Thanks Photobucket.
  2. I'd like to see what you have also Ray. I love the old water heaters (preferably 49-53).. Have a 50 in my roadster and another awaiting a rebuild. 0
  3. I'm gonna start callin' em fuse bombs. Kinda catchy???!!!
  4. I had a kit maybe an AMT. Can't remember the year but it had an absolutely non related '32 ford grill shell on one of the trees.
  5. Ray, just cause you can doesn't mean you should!!!!!!! Kiddin', its cool. If this isn't the place to think outside of the box we ALL need to start collecting stamps.
  6. Thank you guys. John, mostly watercolor, some graphite, charcoal, colored pencil. Oldies are GOODIES!!!!
  7. Steve those tubs look FANTASTIC!!!!! The carpeting/ powder really looks 1:1.

    Auto Art

    Some of mine.
  10. I must be the only one............O.K. guys, I'm convinced. May go with Snakes shopping bag method!!!!!!
  11. I recently made a set for a dragster. These kind of spooked me because not only were they attached to the heads but they had to exit the full body through slots. I drilled the heads out to accept the solder and temporarily glued one in place(made it a bit longer at the cylinder head so it slid into the hole) Once adjusted in place the remainders were fairly easy. The primaries were glued together and a small strap went across all 4 pipes to strengthen the set .The valve covers cover the holes and the longer stubs of the headers.
  12. I'm planning on it!!!! Y'all don't have a vendors list do ya? Just curious as to the goodies to be had.
  13. Subtle, GREAT build.
  14. Thanks Ron and Bill. That helps!!!
  15. Still broken? Can't access gallery photos either.
  16. I know there are some hardcore stocker builders on here so I need to pick some brains. A friend gave me this. I build mostly drag stuff so I was going to cut this up and make a full bodied digger(Revellion etc.). Missing some stuff, rear bumper, roof, chrome thingies on the front fenders. Interesting sales stuff on the chassis. Looked on the Bay and found no sedan model kits. What do you guys think....dragster or stocker ?
  17. Ron if this has WARTS I don't want you lookin' at my cars...........beautiful rebuild!!!!!!!
  18. Sorry for your loss Alan.
  19. Mike, the frame would be a time saver. I'm blown away you chose this (uncertain t) body to do. I know its either love or hate thing. I've wanted one since I was ten years old. I'll take one!!!!!!!! Not a "Buy It Now" sale Mike? What do you want for one?
  20. You guys ever see one of these? On Ebay now. A Dean Jeffries creation. I just thought it was weird, a big barge poncho as a mid engine funny car.
  21. The manufacturer decides for me(unfortunately). I grudginlgly build the curbsides. I was thinking about building the Pyro Classics, but they have the engine models AND "Tabletops" without motors.
  22. I would greedily pay for a resin repop (Hint,Hint to the casters!!!)
  23. Okay how bout another spin. No more injection molds, missing inserts and rust.Could resin company(s) be up to this DAUNT ING task. To produce the product your customers want. Granted, not everyone has worked in or built a resin kit. I just visited a site where the whole page is filled with resin bodies race and stock. Guys are doing prototypes all the time, I may be one. Yes, much time, patience , reference material, etc. Thanks for your replies guys. I've learned quite a bit, but it looks like one of my grails The Uncertain T will be a homemade creature, along with a few other dinosaurs.
