  1. Nice haul!! -I have that 442 kit, and the etching/ detail is outstanding for its time
  2. Pat, I hope the windscreen frame in your Deora kit is better than the one in mine, I think I have to glue mine shut. Let me know if you ever need parts to it, I have an extra kit!
  3. NICE!! -cant wait to see them when they are done! -I've tried to work on more than one at a time before, I cant seem to do it. I'm 90% done with my Tamiya Ferrari F-40, and its only taken me all year, LOL. Keep up the great work!!
  4. Very nice work so far!! -I will definitely be following along as I plan to do my Italeri version of this car. Always wanted to see the inside of this Esci kit, thanks for sharing!!
  5. Extremely cool looking build!!!!! -great job on the white paint as well!! -love the headlamps!!
  6. I know you asked Harry, but couldn't refuse responding. I think the Spaz is WAY better than the Alclad. I use Tamiya gloss black spray, let it dry for a half hour, then spray on the Spaz. I hold the can 12 inches away, and dust it on. You may feel like it will dry-spray, but it wont. I do one more dusting the same way, and it looks great. On rare occasion, my gloss black didn't seem glossy enough, I added a coat of Tamiya gloss clear, and then the Spaz -it looked just as good. I've never had to polish or rub it out.
  7. Shouldn't Andy have one of his pant legs tucked into one of his boots?

  12. For such a pain in the arse kit, you did a fantastic job on it! -I think ALL the Jag kits of this, and the D-types were all equally a pain

  16. Welcome, Jody!, hope your life gets better and better for you
  17. In my opinion, its the best art! -its a collection of many great art forms all rolled into one!!
  18. I usually re-scribe my panel lines. this in conjunction with the fact that clearcoat amplifies scratches, means that when the clear partially fills in a panel line, it makes a realistic shadow without adding any. Out in the "full-scale" world, Details we know are there are often unseen. In art school, my instructor told me to "draw what you see, NOT what you KNOW is there. Realism is quite often un-detailed".
  19. These little Porsches are a bugger to mask and paint when doing replica stock!, you pulled it off, though -a beautiful representation of my person favorite of Porsche.
  20. definitely a beautiful build! -love the blue interior as well!!
