  3. That's to bad Sean. You have done such a nice job on this truck. Hopefully we'll get to see it finished by someone here. Rob

  6. Nice work on the tanks Luis. The seats are very cool. Can't wait to see more.
  7. Nice job on the interior and the plug wires. I'm looking forward to seeing this finished. I have one on the pile waiting to be built.
  8. Top notch and well detailed as usual Richard. I do like following your work. Rob
  9. Nice job on the bullnose Michael. I do like the smaller headlights.
  10. Your Chevelle looks great Terry. Nice work. Rob
  11. A couple of months back I had a hard time finding Tamiya semi-gloss black anywhere. My LHS mentioned there was a shortage and the distributors couldn't get some of the colours from Tamiya. They seem to be back in stock now.
  12. X2 I really enjoyed looking through all those cool cars.
  13. I like the stealth look of the grey paint. Your engine wiring is super clean.
  14. The colour is great Mike. I've heard others talk about using nail polish, maybe now is the time to try. Now, what excuse can I use to explain why I am shopping for nail polish.
  15. I really like the way your interior turned out Pat. Nice call job on the headlights.
  16. x2 I'm glad it isn't just me doing that Dan. Since I have started this build I have added 3 truck kits and a auto carrier trailer to my collection. Rob
  17. Thanks Mark. I think I now have the fifth wheel in the proper location. I didn't glue it to the plate so I can adjust that later once I get into the tanker trailer. So I've been sanding and test fitting everything about the cab. I now have the base of the interior mocked up and sitting the nice and flat. Of course with the warp in the cab and with cutting out the doors it took a little bit of work to get everything lined up. Here is a shot from the front end. It's starting to look like a DR now. I got the doors lined up and hinged. I may have used hinges which are a little to big for model trucks. They were the smallest thing I could find locally so I hope they look OK. This next shot is of the floor inside the truck. I managed to get the engine tunnel in place along with the firewall. the kit parts for these took a bit to get them lined up properly. Adding strips of evergreen plastic, sanding (repeat 101 times) and I am almost there. The hinges won't be noticed once I build the door jams and add the interior door panels I have already created. It's nice to be back at the bench muddling my way through this build. Don't get me wrong, I am loving every moment of this build. Thanks for looking everyone! Rob
