  2. very nice work ! looks great !
  3. wow ! very nice work !
  4. I cut and sectioned the axle . amt uses a bigger tire and wheel on the freightliner, so if using smaller (revell) pay attention to the blocks on the bottom of the front springs where the axle attaches. I usually end up shaving them down a bit to get the right sit. (I don't like a big gap between the wheel opening and the top of the tire) . test fit is a must. hope this helps.
  5. welcome to the forum ! another mainer here !
  6. ha ha my dad always said that about the detriots . he taught me : "keep your foot right into it, they love it " then at a fuel stop I would go to check the oil and was reaching for the dipstick he said : "no need of that ! just throw a gallon in it !"

  10. thanks guys ! my dad had a nice b67 back in the day. I got to drive it around the yard and on local roads. he showed me how to shift twin stick. it helps to have been around real trucks, then models come out better because you know what they really look like.

  14. found this packed in an old box today while I was looking for some tools to assemble my new leaf blower. I forgot about it, been packed away since probably 1998. I remember using automotive lacquer "Fuji blue" sprayed thru my airbrush looks like the only parts missing is one air horn and one cab grab handle. I think I'll just clean it up and put it back together.
