Thanks guys, it is appreciated. I think this was my first attempt at a "candy" type paint job. It is nice to see that my painting skills have improved... some lol.

This was one of the first few cars I built when I got back into the hobby. It's been sitting waiting for me to put the decals on it for 7-8 years now... Yesterday, I figured it was time lol. If I remember correctly paint is Testors Graphite Dust covered with Tamiya Clear Blue. I'll definitely be revisiting this kit in the future to address some things that I didn't notice then, but now they're like ugh.... And please ignore the dust. I thought I did a better job of cleaning it up until the pictures were taken... anyway, thanks for looking...

A friend brought me the orange kit to build a replica he used to own. During the conversation of what he his looked like, he mentioned his was a full bumper not a split. Because of being who he is, I'm using the full bumper kit from my stash for his build... I'm never gonna build it anyway. Will someone please tell me what to be looking out for? I've read several times this kit can be a nightmare build, but can't find a lot on what in particular is so bad except the front suspension maybe... I'm about to start getting thing ready for the build so I can get it back to him. Now gotta find a set of centerlines...

I've used it for a couple cars here and there, because of the variety of colors.... but only a one and done type deal. They are either entirely too thin... or I can get one session out of it and the can never sprays again. Anymore the only success I have is with the Ultra Matte stuff and it's limited. I agree with @ranma it takes forever for the glossy stuff to get past the tacky phase.
