  1. OK, I saw this picture on line. I don't have a clue as to where it is, what store, when or any other details, except for the fact that I, and i'm sure many of you, if not all, have seen this type display at some point in your hobby life. My mentioning of the paint rack ( which was actually BOTTLED hobby paint ) at Walmart was my dismay that those at Walmart thought they would give Plastic Modeling and all that went with it another shot, only to be set upon by the same miscreants that set upon the paint aisle pictured. Hope this clears things up for you.
  2. just now on the Ebay http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xscale+nuts+and+bolts.TRS0&_nkw=scale+nuts+and+bolts&_sacat=0
  3. Saw Fury Road with my Daughter and son in law. Her comment on leaving the theater: " WOW ! That was like a fast ride at Disneyland." from start to finish. There are no slow parts, all action.
  4. Why don't they use this on NASCAR ? I'v seen it up close and personal at the "Goodguys" shows and it would be wild on a NASCAR.
  5. These were the other kits in this Aurora series. I'm not sure if they were picked up by Monogram or Revell.
  6. Ok, another in the series: in all the GTO books I can find no evidence of only "Two" supplementary radiator scoops,
  7. It was less than a week when WalMart had to pull their new model paint section. Sad.
  8. Makes sense to me. Something else to consider, Fenders on- Fenders off, gives a bunch more building options not available with cars you can only build with fenders on( Granted, one can pretty much leave the fenders off just about anything *) ( * )
  9. For a car we're not familiar with, a car we seldom see, if ever, any of these models will do the trick. They are all nicely detailed kits that you, my friend, can add any amount of detail you wish. Find one for a price you are willing to pay, and have at it.
  10. Deuce, model "A" , '27 Tee's,a series of '34's would work and then some '36's ? I know, AMT and Monogram have them covered, but we're talkin' new ground here, Just like the Revell '32's.
  11. "Some is good" "More is better" "Too Much is just right"
  12. So how well did these do? They were a little out there for my taste. I see they were all reissued at least once.
  13. No spoiler here, however, I have to say when this guy was on screen, the audience went wild. BIG ol "O-daiko" drums from Japan on the back with a drummer each. But this guy on the front with his flamethrowin' dual guitar, brought the house down.
  14. See, this is where the "Rat Rod" thing is taking us. http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?7159442-The-Cars-of-Mad-Max-Fury-Road&p=87593024&viewfull=1
  15. I'd have to agree. Just saw the movie. Let me tell you all about it. " WOW ! " And if they did, there would be some great building material for other builds.
