  1. I wonder how many of you have seen said picture? That given, one really has to look to see the "oil" stain (?). I'm thinking one might be looking at the wrong thing. The car is stunning, oil stain or not.

  4. Good thing you asked. Time for some home work :
  5. I think this is by far the most succinct quote on this subject ever. Man, you nailed it Darin.
  6. " I ain't nobody, dork ! Right ?"
  7. That's a lot of information for never having set foot in the store.
  8. I remember "back in the day" when I was in high school, the factory cars were just coming out ('61-'65), the feeling was, "Those aren't hot rods. Anyone can go to a dealer and BUY a hot car. It takes someone special to build their own. By the way my first car was a Model A Ford, the next one was a '56 Chevy Belair No $tore bought cars here.
  9. What does "Pure Edition" indicate Jonathan ?
  10. Best use of 1/24th scale parts I've ever seen. Dennis you're a genius.
  11. Yep Ford tried that back in the day. Shelbied up Mustangs ? One would hope you'd get more than just the foose decals.
  12. That's the one I go to. They never seem to have anything "new".
  13. I 've noticed everyone of them has let go. Luckly no parts falling out (yet).
  14. Cut the package tray out. Move the seat back for more leg room just like the 1:1 builders. Chop it !
  15. Three Deuces on any small block engine. But load 'em up on a small block Chevy , man oh man !
  16. Nice car. "Steel" tunnel ram with two Holley carbs? And a dropped axle that absorbs the bumps?
  17. Ah, the donugnut boxes, I noticed that too.
  18. Looks like fun if maybe it wasn't one BIG giant long thread.
  19. Yeah, my daughter even gave me one for my birthday last week. Helping me move she saw some that weren't open and wondered if I'd notice. I didn't, it was a re release of the AMT Pirania.
  20. I'm moving to a new home and came across a bunch of "Pro Modeler" kits in bigger boxes and was wondering what was inside that made these kits special.
  21. Building old kits is sometimes the only game in town. Certainly nostalgic, Ahhh, the good old days.
  22. I was daydreaming about cars in my past,I think this thread started it, anyway I couldn't remember what carb was on my '62 Impala SS 327.
