  1. Short article in Hot Rod magazine, Hollywood Hot Rods is building a 1:1 version of the Monogram Green Hornet Tee bucket..
  2. It's a Ford, lots to pick from through the years. It's a truck, lots of room for just about anything you come up with Just remember the old Hot Rod adage: If'n some is good, more is better, and too much should be just about right.
  3. I think you're right on the wheel tire thing. Think they can get it together before AMT/RC
  4. I have a sudden urge to go to the "Under Glass" section and look at some models.
  5. Maybe using the "PM this Member" button a little more often would help. Putting the criticism right out there for everyone to see may be too harsh.
  6. They do make a cleaner.
  7. Another solution that has been mentioned here before is pinning. Drilling small corresponding holes and use pins to connect the parts,no scrapping required.
  8. With builds a s nice as those you'll have no trouble fitting in here.Welcome
  9. Can someone post a picture or something. I can't get on the site for some reason.
  10. So, the answer is, nobody cares? This just seems to fly in the face of what this board is about. Look at just about any response to a "Hi, I'm a newbe" post and most people will tell them what a great place this is to exchange ideas and information. I look at a poll as nothing different from any other post asking for help, information, an opinion or ideas, except that it is much simpler, not requiring one to compose a written answer, simply respond to the little boxes provided. It can't get any easier than that, can it? Unless, you just don't care.
  11. Harry, you are so succinct, so terse.
  12. Why do so few vote on the polls people post? I usually find an answer that works for me. I'm sure who ever took the time to post a poll, as well as most of the 100's of people that read the thread would be interested. So what gives?Just look at this recent poll
  13. Aw, such fond memories. I'm thinking of my high school days, early sixties. No, I wouldn't think it would cover too well now.
  14. I was wondering about this awhile back. What ever happened to "Hot Rod" primer? In my youth, that's all one used. My first 1:1 paint job I used Hot Rod primer. It even said so on the cans.
  15. When I worked at the post office they got in about 100 vans with A/C and someone decided it wouldn't be cost effective, so they paid some guy $1000 per unit to remove them, and, he got to keep the parts he removed. That was right here in Phoenix. Then a few years later we got some more in and they decided to keep the air with the stipulation that if it broke they wouldn't fix it, only to their dismay the A/C was part of the serpentine belt set up and it had to be maintained. P.S. I got one of the A/C equipped vans, it has a nice sound system too.
