  1. Has anyone given much thought to the seam on the top of the stream liner? I'm thinking an aircraft type build, where everything inside is finished and then the body half's are glued together, then the body opening is sealed with tape and the body sanded smooth and finished.
  2. Bernard, with the addition of a few cross braces you should come up with three chassis out of the DD tin, and the box , for that mater. And by the way, beautiful builds.
  3. How many kits would it take to build all of the variations? How many can you build out of one kit ? What "extra" parts does it require to build more than two kits from the same box ?
  4. and maybe adding some plumbing and wiring also.
  5. There are two good hobby shops near my house. I drive by them most times I go out. Just recently as I passed by I was thinking,I haven't been in there in a long time and I began to analyze the reason why.It isn't because they don't have a very big stock because they do. It isn't really for any good reason other than I have just about any new release that's out now. What they don't have is the new Revell/Monogram '48 Ford coupe, or the Daytona Cobra Coupe. So What I'm saying is looking forward to new releases is what draws me to their shop.I guess I just need to stop by and see what's new.
  6. Yeah, I get that too. Sometimes I'm just too quick on the draw. I think that's how I got in this mess.
  7. "65 Mustang for sale Look at a site with a Mustang for sale. They usually have just about everything covered.

  13. Looking at the instructions (novel idea) it looks as if the HEMI with the injectors "MAY" work, but the carb set up and blown version defiantly will NOT.FW (?) Here's your Stream liner, a long ago build,The Hemi does fit with out the engine cover. I wonder if you could work up a front drive blower set up ?The parts are there.
  14. Chris also said:I :would also like to see some pics of any dragsters you guys have biult from the double dragster kit. Thanks,:

  18. Greg, you nailed it with those big headlights, chrome rims and wide whites. The White firewall and stance set off the outside nicely. Inside I see an other white painted item with pin stripes along with a Covico steering wheel, you sure you weren't around in the fifty's?
  19. "Specific to model car building, it's easily a pretty isolationist hobby. Even when people get together to build in a group, they're working on their own thing, while someone is doing something similar near them...but not really working on the same projects most of the time." So Mark, what if we were to have something more like a sporting event ,where say, one or two people do a build and everyone else watches from the sidelines and cheers them on, offers constructive criticism, ideas, or suggestions on the build? Just something to keep the hobby fresh.
  20. Do your home work. Check out Exhaust header design.
