Best part of mowing the grass, now that I'm retired, is you can go in the house after each pass and get a drink and take a break. There are no rules now for how long it should take.

We don't need no stinkin beaches. Recent editorial in Hot Rod Delux discusses the new phenomenon. With two letters in their scrap book section. The gist being a rant on the new (Jersey) beach ROG. Race of Gentlemen being no more than a step above rat rods. Granted, the Daytona Beach early NASCAR type racing is part of automotive racing history, but as Art has pointed out, few if any show up at the contest table.

What kits had these speed parts ? Some Model A four bangers thrown in. Interesting none of the Monogram Model A kits had any. -

Reading is fundamental. Good luck on the "J" car. Maybe you'll get lucky and find the one with a clear body. -

Chris, hat's the best answer I've never heard for the reason they didn't do the clear body. Thanks, it really makes sense, more than all the other goofy reasons we've heard since it was reissued. And good point, it is a great kit, what are you waiting for Bob Grieger ? Quit yer bellyaching and get back to that hobby shop and buy one before they ARE all gone. Then spend some time building it instead of all your speculations you post here. You can do it buddy, you might even enjoy the building part of this hobby. -
