  1. Interesting question. Kind of reminds me of a time I had my '69 Charger at a local drive in show. A young man also had a '69 Charger but it was in much need of many missing items, chrome trim etc. as he looked over my Charger he ask me " Where did you get all the parts?" Ah, they came on the car? So what I'm getting at here, is build what comes in the kit you're building. You can't go wrong for a first time build. They usually get it pretty close to being correct.
  2. Only other 1/16th scale hot rod is from Lindberg, and not too shabby either
  3. They also come in a stock version. But again, no Coupe
  4. Lots of parts = lots of detail really nice flathead too
  5. They have quite an extensive catalog. But alas, no coupe.
  6. Chrome rims look nice' Not sure about that windshield gap and the top cover.
  7. You see where the top issues come from with the custom roof. But I wonder what happened with the front door gap ?
  8. The lavender one on the right ?
  9. I am always amazed at the parts request, questions, or simply a thread where there is NO picture. I too believe this will help in identifying what ever is being discussed,
  10. this would be better served as a pole, yeah or nay.
  11. Or are there some different parts between the kits ?
  12. So are there any model kits of this coming out any time soon? Revell ? Mobius ?
  13. and a popular one from Ford trucks ?
  14. Cal Custom did quite a few scoops, some bolt to the hood , some on top of the carburetor.
  15. Thanks everyone, got a few things to look into.
  16. Let's see . . .

Biting the hand that feeds you (us)?

    treading on thin ice.

    walking on eggs.

Well anyway, how long before you get a nasty letter from one of Gregg's brain trust? His posse, the moderators.

Me personally, I think the way he runs his magazine is deplorable.

It will be interesting to see what kind of response you get.

I'm sorry for your crappy service. Just know you are not alone.

  17. No Mod Rods here. For that matter no Garlits either. Oh yeah, No Ollies in Arizona. That's my Ollie on the right. His uncle Flip is no longer with us.
  18. What's the best / easiest way to make sure there will be no ghost lines when side trim is removed?
  19. Yes, hands down
  20. Yes, I know, all kinds of diecast, slot cars etc'.I have a few, I'm talking a real honest to goodness 1/25th - 1/24th kit
