  1. Hallelujah brother. About time for something new
  2. This one comes to mind, but I can't find it. It's a recent blob type funny car with a large tarzan type guy sprawled over the top with his hands coming up on the front fenders. Anyone ? Nice Porsche O, Larsen.
  3. This is rather puzzling https://www.jigsawplanet.com/Bigiron383/AMT-Model-Car-Art
  4. Worth seeing again, one of my all time favorites, album and cover, you nailed it.
  5. My pals Flip n' Ollie. Flip was Ollies uncle if you can believe that. I lost Flip two years ago this Christmas season.
  6. Everyone here will eventually be in this situation. First with two options, A) don't prepare, do nothing, leaving everything to your heirs to figure out. B ) You do something about it. This is where things get complicated because there are many options with varying outcomes. I think the easiest thing is the bulk sale, everything goes for one agreed upon price. I think this is also the one avenue that will net the least return on your holdings. The problem of the next few options, Ebay, Craigslist, this board. is that they will require a large amount of work on your part or someone helping you and will be a rather long drawn out affair, photos, setting up an account (ebay), listing, following the listing, follow through on packaging and mailing. Figure in some travel here as well, to the post office, somewhere to get packing material, etc. Clubs and hobby shops are another way, but again requiring some leg work and typically they won't want everything you have leaving you with some residual. So you have to decide how much effort are you willing to put into your liquidation ? Ultimately, what is it you wish to achieve ? Just getting rid of everything or turning a profit?
  7. Ken, I would like to apologize for what ever happened here to hijack YOUR "Incomplete Bonuses" found in kits thread. I had only thought of all the other "Complete Bonuses" found in other kits, obviously a distinction some here have missed. Again I apologize.
  8. and here we go again,,, sorry to see they combined Your "Incomplete Bonuses" with my "Complete Bonuses"

  9. The Model A kit had a 413 MOPAR engine with the over the top cast iron headers. The engine wouldn't fit in the car, it was an extra.
  10. Many kits come with extra stuff, whether it be just some cool extra parts,i.e. engine stand and bare block in the AMT Nova kits or complete accessories as denoted on the box top, boat and trailer, bike and trailer. Here's one with a complete bicycle inside, AMT 1929 Ford Woody/Pickup, not sure how to tell from the exact same kit that doesn't have the bike.
  11. That would be a great chassis comparison
  12. It would be nice to see that kit return with all the different parts it had through several reissues.
  13. Tell us about those cool headers. At first I thought they were from a JO-HAN kit, but upon closer observation I see there is a whole lot more to them.
  14. Very nicely done, super detail, less is more. I like your color combination and plain wheels. Reminded me of the car from this movie ,
  15. Not as fanciful, but these come to mind as well :
  16. and not to forget this gem
  17. This is quite puzzling too : https://www.jigsawplanet.com/Bigiron383/UP-IN-THE-AIR
