  1. Must be a really popular car to be kitted so many times and covered in so many threads and sections, WOW!
  2. WOW ! That would still be a real treat. Even in a smaller 1/25th or 1/24th scale something like that from Tamiya, WOW !
  3. Well shame on him for contributing to this rehash thread. Is there a problem here ? I'd bet there are a great number here that haven't seen any of that, much less been on the board that long. and good luck trying to do a search.
  4. Did you run in the back room and pull all of those out just for us Ray ? And now the counts up to twelve.
  5. Again, mods, pleas don't combine these. Someone had to finally give us The Monster 427 Cobra. Thank you Monogram and so many thank you for doing it in 1/24th scale. Now don't be bashful, if I miss any post em up. That last one looks like a double kit, but I don't believe it is. Which one came with the Shelby and Ken Miles figures ?
  6. Not to be combined with the "Interesting how few Cobra kits " post please. Now AMT, Matchbox, Lindsey and now Round2 have given us quit a few variations on the ONE kit, If I missed any please help us out and post up a photo. And here in no particular order.
  7. Was thinking about this for awhile, the few US kit makers with Cobra kits. They do cover most all the popular scales however. Starting from the smallest Monogram 1/43rd scale, and this is really a very well done kit. Next up a nice Snap kit also from Monogram in 1/32nd scale. Now the ubiquitous AMT 289 slab side roadster that has been around since the beginning. Really nothing to fix here, especially if they include all the great parts and accessories they've had through the years. Another Monogram kit, the 427 monster. They have done just about every version of this car. For the large scale 1/16th, crowd MPC put forth a great effort, lots of detail and options. Sadly the only Dayton Coupes are curb side from Lindberg in both 1/32nd and 1/24th.
  8. They do squeal upon touch down. Ever see the end of a runway ? The wheels aren't turning when they land until touch down
  9. The Wrong "Actor" for the part , , , ???
  10. Alan, Charlies brother on Two and A half Men did some model car building in the show.
  11. Thanks Chris, nice comparison. Gotta love that scoop The engine on the other hand, great, love it.
  12. Just got one for my 71 birthday, looks fine to me, Certainly one up from the ubiquitous AMT '65 promo chassis same ol, same ol.
  13. Shades of Jay Leno's HEMI Under Glass ride. https://www.bing.com/search?q=Jay+leno+hemi+under+glass&form=EDNTHT&mkt=en-us&httpsmsn=1&refig=46487892989b4387a9ffbda62f65a414&sp=-1&pq=jay+leno+hemi+under+glass&sc=6-25&qs=n&sk=&cvid=46487892989b4387a9ffbda62f65a414
  14. and as for this 1963 ? pilot Mustang, seems like a lot of wishful thinking (ne, dreaming) on the current owners part. Looks like a hack custom to me regardless of the Hemmings article which I since isn't speaking of the car pictured at all, Just my jaded 71 year old opinion. Yeah, I'm the guy walking past the Ford show room,1965, looking at the original Shelby Mustangs saying to my friends, " I'd rather have a Corvette."
  15. Revell Of Germany Mustang kits will be the same old Monogram / Revell from the US Richard spoke of above, simply repackaged.
  16. The Missing link, Notchback / Hardtop
  17. I agree, so long the elitist among us have played that game. To what end?
  18. some great use of pictures there Gerry. There's at least 3000 words. Thanks for clearing that up.
  19. and now we know he rest of the story Guess there's no need for anymore insider information.
