  1. but hidden away here on the board
  2. yes, or you could end up on double secret probation
  3. Here's an example of what we will miss , Small files
  4. well there ya go. Tread lightly, I have three "Warning points" and have been on secret double probation a few times.
  5. So long Bill sorry to see you go

  6. Well I see someone finally pissed him off. who's going to be next? There are many great builders on this board and many with a great working knowledge of the subject we model. I'm hard pressed to understand why so many don't look at the advise and wisdom of those people and continually go after them in one way or another. I for one will miss all that Ace-Garageguy, Bill Engwer had to offer.
  7. Wonder if they'll have to switch cars half way down the track like the F1 cars do
  8. Not counting double kits, just kits with multiple build options ?
  9. and too bad they muffed this one.
  10. Not much to it, but it would make for a nice quick build or a good start on any number of nostalgia builds.
  11. Gotta love that scoop too high school metal shop ? Never had any love for this show.
  12. Keeping in the 1/16th this one has been reissued,
  13. two other Aurora kits worthy of discussion.
  14. still wondering about "drying time" vs "cure time" ? I recently primed with ACE primer waited till it was dry, aprox. 1 hour, then shot some paint and got the lacquer bleed through
  15. Is there a "cure" time for these primers that one must wait to get the full protection?
  16. Thank you all for responding. I have three cans to work with, Krylon, ACE, Rust-Oleum, I'll let you know of any really bad experience.
  17. Yeah, I know I just got that great Badger 190 compressor and dug out a couple of old Badger 120-130 brushes, but hey, for a quick full cover primer, which do YOU prefer and why?
  18. and I'll bet those skinny suckers will fit
  19. Interesting thing on this MPC / AMT '28 Model A kit, the engine fits but the cast iron exhaust manifolds don't.
