Twisted Fish - 3/13, main pieces put together.
CFMgarage replied to The Fisherman's topic in WIP: Model Cars
NICE project you started there Zachary! I like the direction where the headers are going but definitely looks like a pain. -
I'm sure a lot of you know about one of the biggest names in extreme sports, legendary BMX Icon and then-turned Rally/rallycross driver, Dave Mirra, passed away yesterday night...He was only 41 years old and they're saying it was an "apparent suicide." He was pretty much the BMX version of Tony Hawk. I remember playing all the Dave Mirra bmx video games when I was young and he even motivated me to try the sport and buy my first real bmx, with the pegs and everything... Rest in Peace Dave.

Opel Blitz "DAK" style
CFMgarage replied to Agent G's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Wow that is very realistic Wayne. Great job! Can't wait to see the full diorama. -
I don't know if anyone really cares, but: The "Zsuzsi" writing is Hungarian (which is my native tongue, even though I moved to the US as a little kid), which means "Susie" but the rest of the writings on it are German, which I do not speak but I do know a lot of words and "Nutzlast" means "Payload" and I think "Leergew" is curb weight? So...I'd assume that, even though this doesn't look like a military bug, I think it was used to move between the two countries...which is pretty cool.

Making my own waterslide decals

Such a beautiful and well detailed build!

Hey friends, I have a question regarding making my own waterslide decals. I purchased Testor's Decal Papers and a can of clear polyurethane (following the instructions on model-railroad-hobbyist.com) ... Has anyone created their own waterslides and used polyurethane spray as a decal bonder? Please let me know what your experience was like...I won some ebay bids on some glue bombs that I'll take apart, but I don't wanna wait forever to buy a new decal kit for them, plus this way I can make my own logos and whatnot. Thanks in advance.

I'm a huge fan of the 570, so I'll definitely be interested in picking one up!! I'm also silly enough to try and add some extra aerodynamics, and a set of different wheels with some sticky tires for that weekend track car look...

Wow Jim I love the colors on this one! Your diorama garage also inspired me to build one myself lol. Keep up the great work man!
