  1. My god I just went through this whole thread and your workmanship is so amazing, I just wanna cry that I'll never be at this level Now on a more positive note, that is not true and I won't cry haha...but this motivates me to dig deeper and build even more quality stuff. Do you use magnifying glasses or something at this level of detail? You are a scratchbuild monster and I can't wait to see more updates.
  2. Meh, I'm fine with 1/20 people but no larger. It makes it a lot easier to scratch build bigger products, so 1/20 should be the limit.
  3. That's a very nicely done model! Great job!
  4. That's beautiful! Tell your friend thanks for his service, from a fellow vet!
  5. Nice work so far Kenneth! Just looking at all that rope, I would've lost my mind
  6. That's beautiful! Well done!
  7. Holy Sh*t that thing is nicely done!
  8. Vince, I don't pray but my thoughts and hopes are with your grandson and your family. He's in good care in Pittsburgh, it's a great hospital!
  9. Welcome bud. I am still active duty, however I am already considered handicapped from a duty-related injury, so I'll be joining you in the "fresh out" category in no time
  10. In my opinion that just depends on what you're trying to accomplish. When I do decals that are supposed to be "factory decals" like pin stripes on a boss 302 mustang, or side logos on a Ferrari, I do those before any clear coat, so they match perfectly with the rest of the body... Now when it's aftermarket decals, such as sponsors, or graphics that are supposed to stick out a bit more, so you can tell they're not put on by the factory, I do those right before my final coat of clear. That's just my $.02
  11. Holy BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH Ron! This is amazing work! Never thought about locking doors yet. Learn something new every day Looking forward to seeing more.
  12. I'm sitting here with my jaw dropped looking at your work. Well done.
  13. LOVE it! Well done. I like anything jdm so I always enjoy seeing any jzx100
  14. I really like the 1/25 scale 2jz engines in the amt (?) Fast and furious cars...yes they do need some aftermarket lovin' to truly shine, as their box stock turbos are hideous, but they look great. This is an example with a hobby design single turbo on it in a 1/24 Scion FR-S:
  15. Love it! You should try and get an engine in there. I forget what site it is that sells them online at a decent price, but it'd really spice up the s2k build. I got one in the "to-do-list" myself. Looking forward to seeing more updates
  16. This bad girl finally arrived after a month and a half of waiting. Got it on eBay for a steal. Came from Mexico and took forever, including a 2 week hold at customs. Original, 1982 edition, turbo 4-cyl amazingness.
  17. Gary, that's a great find! How do you clean up someone else's messed up glue job on headlights or windows?
  18. YES! Looks ready for Cars and Coffee
  19. That is amazing! Love the rock crawler!
  20. i mocked up my basic suspension first. Decided to do traction arms like lifted show trucks would have and secured a NASCAR rear end to it so I can mock some stuff up. Then played around with shock placement. This is all just a mockup and will probably come apart 30 times before I find how I really like it and dial in my ride-height. As you can see its WAAAY TOO HIGH for my liking but as said above its just the first mockup. No rush till Dec. 1
  21. Dude that is so impressive! I'm a huge fan of imports and I am seriously shocked at the attention to detail in your work! Such awesome job!
  22. That's beautiful! Really well done!
  23. That is beautiful man!
