  1. Nicely done in such short time!
  2. Nicely done dude. And hey sucks about the fire but you know when we face an obstacle we just gotta take that punch and get right back up and keep moving forward!
  3. Omg that's gorgeous! Well done! How do you airbrush a rattle can? Just curious. And BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH your diorama makes mine look like Lego ?
  4. Nicely done! Clean paint job too for sure
  5. Wow that interior work is phenomenal dude!
  6. Whoa! I love that. My brother builds 1:1 real life bobbers and cafe racers so I may try to build him his own bikes replica like this...he'd flip a s-h-i-t.
  7. Looks amazing. Great job. Only extra I would add if you don't mind a wee bit of constructive criticism is clamps on the couplers on the intake. You can use thin aluminum foil strips or think sticker vinyl. It'd add the extra realism.
  8. few small goodies came in today. Lots of wiring, some fuel lines, and an unknown twin turbo setup that I intend to use on my dodge Daytona parts-build.
  9. Erik, This project looks so awesome. I definitely followed it to see more updates! Looking forward to seeing more posts
  10. Not a bad idea. I also have a couple nascar bodies (I am using to chassis and engines in other models) so I am interested to see how you accomplish this. Good luck!
  11. Nicely done! I've always wanted to build a slammed one on huge chrome vip style wheels
  12. Holy moly I love this build! That engine bay is just amazing!
  13. Holy Shi*! I saw this car on an Instagram post by one of the builders I follow and the craftsmanship blew me away. I can only dream to have the skills and machinery to build something this nice!! NOW...On a separate note, I do have a silhouette at home as my wife has a small company that uses it, so I may start cutting some styrene on it. Never thought about that before.
  14. very nicely done! Love the hood!
  15. Bro...amazon or ebay does a great job at good prices. Just gotta put up with the waiting period
  16. I've never heard of that before (the clear spray)...I hit my models with one thin coat of regular automotive primer. Works like a charm.
  17. I don't see imperfections, but my question to you is did you clean the body with some soap and water and dry it real good before you painted it? Also did you use a primer? These two are both essential to make sure your paint turns out with good quality and zero blemishes. As far as the runs go, with a good primer, good distance, and light coats, you should be able to avoid them. Patience is key. Edit...I do see some missed spots in the engine bay here and there, I normally use a very fine brush to "work the paint" into those areas, but only in the engine bay.
  18. Second build ever??? WELL DONE!! Great detail and execution. Pretty build for sure.
  19. Nicely done! Love the plum color!
  20. Nicely done dude!!! I just finished mine too, it's in here on the first page. Check it out, I threw a modded 2jz in there with some scratch built stuff! Dude, I totally agree! I got some good stuff on the bench. Just gotta find more time.
  21. I feel you. Idk why I rushed that BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH build. I bought a few turbos from hobby design and they're so well detailed that I'm only doing singles with them. I just finished the rocket bunny frs with a single turbo 2jz in it, I'll post it right now in "under the glass".
  22. I just finished an R32 but it's too box stock so I'm gonna take it apart and do the same ???
  23. And thanks to everyone for the nice words. Definitely didn't know there were so many vets on here! Thanks for you guys' service and sacrifice!
  24. Thanks everyone I'm gonna sand and polish and see how it goes.
