  1. hmmm...wetsand the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH out of it?
  2. Not trying to be a douche or anything but this was posted before in a thread not too long ago...
  3. It's gorgeous, 770 hp, and already sold out... Click for full article on Lamborghini's website
  4. Followed! This is awesome! I'd love to build one, but yes the above posted prices are like 3 years' worth of kit prices for me
  5. There used to be PARTS BOXES??? I'd love that. Often times there's that ONE part...ugh. Maybe my LHS isn't a real LHS And yeah dude. Pain is no fun. I'm talking myself into building/restoring another 1:1 project but I'm worried my body is gonna regret every step of it.
  6. WOW. I'm jelly you laid down such a good airbrush job (like others have said) for the first time! And what a beautiful truck.
  7. "It's all right. I ain't losin'. This fool is running a Honda 2000. I'll win. Then me and my dad can roll together when he gets out of prison. It's all good."
  8. I'm handicapped and can't walk or stand more than 2-3 minutes without having to sit down and "moan it out" so I actually hate visiting LHS's...There's one LHS around me about an hour and 15 minutes away that I still try to visit every couple months or so, where the guys (and gal) know me so I call them and ask what they have in stock that I may enjoy (They know my preference of tuners/Japanese cars). Because of my condition, though, a lot of times I have to use amazon or eBay, simply because of the convenience factor of not having to endure any pain and just receiving my kits right at my front door. Amazon also has paint, glue, knives, putties, the whole nine yards, and having "prime", I get free 2-day shipping. Now do I endorse that's the right way? No. But that's the best I can do to keep enjoying my hobby.
  9. I wanna hate it but I see the hours and hours of labor and custom work put into it so I respect the car and the builder's work.
  10. Exactly. I really appreciate your advice. Keeps me motivated to do better. Like I said, my space is so limited here, but I'm still working on improving the "shop" as time goes by. I'm considering either carving new cabinets out of wood, or possibly putting them together from styrene. I may even buy the fujimi tools remix kit and just going that route. Also considred redoing the dyno and the lift from much more pieces, and better material for the roller on the dyno and the lift arms for the lift, so that it becomes functional. I need to slow myself down when I make machines like these.
  11. Looks phenomenal!
  12. DUDE! Oh my god! Your cuda came out freaking amazing! I can only dream to have your patience, creativity and skills to bring something like that to the table one day. Very inspiring build!
  13. Jesse, I love this build and I love the trailer/racecar/tow truck combo. I'm doing something similar too, as after I saw your trailer and how good it looked painted, I picked one up too. My colors will definitely be different, but still -> Thanks for the inspiration.
  14. I totally appreciate the nice words and the constructive tip/well-meant-criticism...this was my prototype build, kinda...to hold me over. Wife and I are planning to move down the shore from NJ to FL in a year or so, so once we have the new house and my designated hobby room (garage) I'll make a much more detailed version with less paper and rushed stuff.
  15. In the top right corner of this screen, you'll find your name... Click it, and a menu will appear where you can click "profile" This will take you to your profile where you'll see your picture on the left side...in your case right now it'll be a silhouette of what appears to be a gray mugshot... On the bottom left corner of this mugshot, there's a small gray square...if you click that, the popup will come up where you can pick your picture. Max file size is only 0.24MB so make sure you don't pick anything too large, or just resize it in Microsoft paint.
  16. http://airwaysnews.com/blog/2013/07/31/knuffingen-airport-at-miniatur-wunderland-the-worlds-greatest-model-airport/ It's a fully working airport too with actual landings and take-offs...I'll update the original post with the link
  17. This guy definitely deserves an award... This is a fully functional scale airport with planes landing and taking off, lining up to take off, with monitors of arrival times and whatnot...check out the link for more pics: http://airwaysnews.com/blog/2013/07/31/knuffingen-airport-at-miniatur-wunderland-the-worlds-greatest-model-airport/
  18. Nicely done! Very cool.
  19. I'm so down for a couple sets of these!
  20. Wow that's a very cool concept so far! I'll be watching
  21. Looks badass so far !!!
  22. Welcome dude! Im originally from VA myself , but life got me to NJ by now...and the wife and I are planning a semi-retirement-ish move to FL in a couple years.
  23. A little progress done today as I got sick so I stayed home. I was couch-bumming most of the day but I managed to mount the seat, harness, and work more on the cage. It's not done yet but definitely getting there.
  24. Well I took a sick day today so I figured why not make this lift happen...so I took some basswood, some ice cream sticks, styrene rods and some left over bolts and decals and made this lift. I think I can call the interior 100% finished although I may add some light switches and air hoses.
