  1. NIIICE stuff Bob! Welcome!
  2. Go into the message itself, click "Message" in the top right corner, then click "Leave Conversation"... It'll ask you if you wanna leave the conversation permanently, and once you clicked yes, you'll see your inbox percentage change appropriately
  3. Can't wait to see your finished ride, since I'm doing a Charger in a similar style ...the ol' dodges are gonna be killin' it down under!
  4. Awesome diorama! I like the little write-up "back story" with it
  5. You did a great job. Nice work, glad you didn't just throw it out.
  6. Wow that's a very pretty build.
  7. happened to me too. I did some VERY fine wetsanding. Tedious, but turned out very nice at the end. I was gonna use future on it too, but didn't need it. - DISREGARD THAT - I did use future on it
  8. Definitely in for at least a set, maybe 2. Great price, great looks!!!

    Gremlin X

Man I love gremlins. Great job.
  10. That's so badass!! Well done!
  11. I couldn't make it to NNL East...I'd just gotten back from vacation and had too much stuff to do. I was pretty bummed, though.
  12. Sweet looking lowrider!!
  13. That was my plan to box these two W.I.P.'s up and get back to them when I feel like it. Until I came to work today, and realized there's no internet connection. 3 and a half hours later, still looking at pictures and videos of cars, I think I'm becoming inspired again...which I'm pretty thankful for because I wanna finish up these cars so I can clear my bench up for the Cannonball community build car that I boxed up a month or two ago so that one day I can start it over. No, I would never throw one out. I don't even trash one from my old (beginning days) collection (even though they turned out like c.r.a.p.) - one day I'll rebuild them again. Why toss them? Some purple pond and tlc and they'll be good to go.
  14. Thanks guys. I actually did touch my one main project for two seconds today haha, but you're right I'm not gonna force it and I'll just work on cleaning up my 1:1 for now
  15. Hey guys, Ever since the wife and I came home from vacation last Wednesday, I've been glancing at my projects on my bench, and simply not having any motivation to touch them. This has never happened before. I still get on here and love all the posts and other people's workbench threads, but I can't get myself to get back into finishing my in-progress cars. I want to see them done, I just can't push myself into it. Do you ever have this? What do you do? Get some beers and set aside Saturday afternoon and just sit down and build away?
  16. That's pretty awesome! I'd love to see suspension and engine pics myself.
  17. I'm in love. BTW, that wrap had to be a b-word to install
  18. I love how you bumped your own thread by 5 months hahaha....but I love the hoverbike even more. Great job.
  19. Great idea. Definitely gonna do this.
  20. Based on the pics posted above, I think they could've done a lot better job with the front grill (adding headlights and mesh like the real car), the wheels are horrible, seats are too, and Dom definitely had a full rollcage in that car, not just a rear bar. That being said, if the engine is just remotely close to the 1:1 engine, I'll buy it, wire and plumb it, and put it on display in my diorama.
  21. This is gorgeous. I'm not a huge fan of old-olddd cars but this is so phenomenally clean. With a nice diorama backdrop, it'd be easily mistaken for a 1:1.
  22. I am a huge car enthusiast and have been racing cars since 2006 - and pretty much been drifting (on track) at grassroots level (no pro stuff yet) since 2009. I'm currently building a new drift car, but here are some pics of my previous car. Please keep in mind these are supposed to be flashy fun cars. This is a 93 Miata with a somewhat built 1.6 motor around 280 wheel horsepower (so around 330-ish horsepower at the crank): The reason my hood and front bumper were off is because I was overheating (pretty badly) - check the 3rd picture for the result of overheating hahaha And here's one for giggles - the overheating led to the "cooldown lap"...when I blew my engine:
