It is in color,I found some dark green metallic paint at the parts store that is close enough to a late 70s color and will post pics later.

Do not have the room for those.

If I remember correctly Edsel died in 43 or 44 so the second headlight and grille had to been done between 40 and his death or after it was sold.

I was wondering if the present grille and headlights had been changed since sealed beam headlights did not come out until 1940.

I built models for many years before hearing about Modelhaus and probably can live without them but their parts have spoiled me,I do not know how long they have been doing it but I first started ordering parts off them about 4 years ago and was hoping it would go on for many more years. If it was still in the less then 2 dollars for a kit days I would have no problem buying new kits for parts but now that its over 20 dollars I can not do it so the Modelhaus was a big help.

I was on their site a couple weeks ago and should have ordered then,got lucky and found parts I needed in stock to finish a couple projects but if I do not like the wheels that came with the kits I have in waiting I will be screwed unless I want to buy another kit to get the parts.

I am from the east Dayton area.

I am going to make a order that will last me for years when I can order again.

When they catch up I think I am going to make a order that will last me a few years,I think they opened up a can of worms by mentioning their retirement and might be hard to catch up with all the orders.

The price has been reduced to 5 dollars now so I grabbed another one.

All the metal axles I have are too short so where can I get it in bulk to cut to fit.

Looks good and I was going to get it since it did not show all that trim the more optioned trucks had but still thinking about it.

Got some rootbeer brown paint for it,most likely will get a saddle interior.

The S&H should be real close since they were mechanically the same car up through 76 and could be the same as the 77 to 79 T bird if that kit was ever available.

Its stripped and now to find a dark brown paint

Its starting to look like something again,need to figure out what color to paint it

Chassis is about stripped and got me thinking what was I thinking as the chassis was originally painted red and the body was orange.

Right now I am restoring some models I built over 30 years ago and as the paint comes off I am wondering on some why did I repaint it so many times since the first time looked nice,now on the MPC 70s Chevy truck I am wondering what was I thinking since I have seen the original paint. Red chassis and orange body and a black interior so it must have been what I had on hand and no money to buy paint.

Body has been stripped and now chassis is soaking.

Motor has been painted Chrysler blue and motor mounts made but thats been all I have done lately.

Its soaking and most of the paint is off,not sure of the color but thinking a dark metallic brown would be nice.

Can not find the airbrush I bought off a friend 30 years ago so I still use rattle cans.

Will have to look into one of those cleaners,I am glad I have found out about the purple power as i like getting them down to bare plastic.
