  1. I got a new body and a interior tub from a sedan delivery so I was getting them to fit using the old body,I cut down the back of a 53 Ford cab for the rear window.
  2. Its done enough for me.
  3. Its interesting that they used the late 50s cab up into the mid 70s.
  4. No extra windshied but only the custom parts from the kit.
  5. As much as I would like a six I do have a Pontiac motor that I might drop in to be different.
  6. I think I am going to drop it in the rear a little and having a hard time getting a correct hood, the one i got off ebay is wrong and the one I got doing some trading is better but I think its for the Revel version and I need the tail lights. I know where I can get them if I want to spend some money which might just happen tonight.
  7. I am working in the basement and has gotten much colder in the last couple days so I will let it work longer.
  8. I would like to see that show again after seeing the truck and great job.
  9. I have noticed its not working as fast as it has so I will have to replenish it.
  10. It has not been painted, that is the color it came.
  11. The frame has been painted and its starting to go back togather,I am thinking about not repainting the body.
  12. Not even one number.
  13. I think its basicly the same oil filter as a 6 cylinder.
  14. Its sitting much better now,it was almost as high as a 4x4 and might have to go a little lower in the rear. Still wanting to make it a base model truck with a 6 cylinder and dog dish hubcaps like with my Dodge truck I am also working on.
  15. Restoring a MPC mid 70s stepside and thinking about going bottle cap hubcaps on it too so where any truck kits made with them.
  16. I have a MPC mid 70s stepside that I built in 78 that is getting a restoration and lowered, the front suspension always sat too high in the front when I originally built it so I rigged the rear to match it so today I seperated the front suspension from the frame and ground it and the suspension some so it would be a little lower. I think I am only going to tinker with the suspension right now as I have other projects that I want to finish but needed something to do while paint and glue was drying,I will post some pics after I get it sitting the way I like it and find some better rims.
  17. From 56 to 67 or 68 they had the cannister type oil filters on the block.
  18. One year had a single handle on the hood sides and the other had two and I do not remember which years was what and if you really want to get technical I think the 34 has a notch on the firewall to hold a hood side where the 33 does not.
  19. Spin on oil filters did not come on the scene until around 67 or 68.
  20. I have a better body on the way,I want to make it much nicer then I could with the present body.
  21. I got one and it was the last one they had and it was in the storage room and not bad for 10 dollars, now how do I get the Speedway logo off the doors without hurting the paint.
  22. The idiot drivers that can not figure out what lane they want to be in.
  23. There are almost 7000 Winross trucks on ebay and the prices are all over the place so I did not do as good as I thought but I like it and might get more.
  24. I can not pass up old toy trucks if they are priced right.
