Thanks for nice compliments on my '32 Ford, I am glad y'all like it. I'm primarily an aviation modeler but I like to build cars every so often to keep those skills from getting too rusty. One more photo with a garage background- Cheers, Albert

Hi Gang- Just put the wraps on this Revell 1932 Ford Sedan. It was combined with the hood, grill, chassis, engine, rear tires, and bobbed rear fenders from the '32 Ford Rat Roaster kit. The front tires and steel wheel/dog dish hubcaps came from the '32 Five Window Coupe kit. The paint is Dupli-Color red oxide primer with a satin clear coat. Build details can be found in my Facebook build log- https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.4717774220659.1073741828.1183606216&type=1 [ Thanks for looking, all comments and critiques welcomed. Cheers, Albert

Dooood!!! You haz mad painting skillzzzz!!!11!! Seriously, I am always amazed at the work you do, whether it be a beater, rat-rod style, or an awesome custom paint job such as this Chrysler. Cheers, Albert

Absolutely beautiful job on the finish. That has to be one of the nicest all black paint jobs I've seen on a model anywhere. Cheers, Albert

That is a beautiful Nova. The color suits it well, and I just dig the steel wheels/dog dish hubcap combo. Cheers, Albert

Audi R8 GT3.....one down, three more to go
Albert Moore replied to Peter Lombardo's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Hi Peter, Well, I think I'll go put my box stock R8 back in its box and come back when I'm all grown up. That is awesome looking! The body mods look amazing, as does the paint and graphics. I look forward to seeing this baby done up in its entirety. Cheers, Albert -
Looking good so far. The interior looks terrific, especially the woodgrain trim. Cheers, Alby

Holy cow! What a phenomenal model! Everything looks like it would if Tamiya were to produce an ALMS Camaro kit. Take a bow on your one of a kind build. Cheers, Albert

Oooh, the technical from hell! Cheers, Albert

Sharp looking KR! The tire change and suspension mods really help the look of the completed model, and the color looks about spot on. Cheers, Albert

Hi Ed, That is a sharp looking Eliminator! Nice job on the finish. This model is a trip down memory lane for me as well. I built it myself as a kid, but it was nowhere near the quality of your model. And the videos! Not only was ZZ Tops's music kick arse, but the videos! I remember them quite well (what adolescent male who was coming of age at that time wasn't oogling the hot babes getting in and out of the car in the vids ). Thanks for the bit 'o nostalgia in regards to your model and again, great job. Cheers, Albert

That is one cool looking concept build. I can hear the purists cringing! The color/stripe combo looks right at home on that body, and the rolling stock sets it all off nicely. Bravo on a terrific build, Bob! Cheers, Albert

That is a gorgeous GSX, Chris. Looks like it rolled out of Chip Foose's shop. Cheers, Albert

500 MPH Mustang.........
Albert Moore replied to roadhawg's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Being that I enjoy both aircraft and automotive modeling, I'd be for a non-auto modeling section. The model aircraft site I call home has a section for other genres of modeling in our forum and it works quite well. My .02 cents, Albert -
Inappropriate forum behavior

Ken, Up until last year, that was all we had in my particular area of Northern Michigan. My connection was a whopping 26.4kps. Suffice to say I was hitting refresh a lot when it came to browsing the various model sites/forums that I participated on. Downloading music, forget about it! It was like discovering the Promised Land when DSL became available and we signed up! Cheers, Albert -
Hi Mick, There's a stock car you don't see built everyday in terms of the decals and body style. Looks great, especially the stance! Cheers, Albert
-
Nice! The color combo looks terrific (and cleanly applied). The rim/tire combo give it a tough look as well. Cheers, Albert

New here, just saying hi!

From one relative newcomer to another, welcome aboard! That GT500 looks like it's going to be one sharp looking ride, look forward to seeing more of your work. Cheers, Albert -

Holy moly you knocked that one off fast!. Looks good, Nick. You can't go wrong with an all black T/A. Cheers, Albert -

Nice taste in kits. I've got four myself (three unbuilt and one completed)- KITT of course, an AMT '79 Trans AM, and a Revell 1998 Ram Air Trans Am (my favorite T/A) in the stash. The built up Trans Am is a 1/25 Revell 1993/94 T/A (the detailed snap together kit). Cheers, Albert -

Nice job on the paint. Black can be a bugger to apply smoothly and without junk settling in it so it looks like you nailed it really well. I can't wait to see it finished up (KITT is my favorite TV car as I've got a soft spot for Trans Ams). Cheer, Albert -
Two Finished
Albert Moore replied to mackinac359's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Hey Tim- 'Sublime' looks terrific! I thought the real truck looked sharp and you captured the look perfectly. I look forward to seeing both builds in Marquette next spring. Cheers, Albert -
Thanks for all the info y'all have provided in regards to the engine information in this kit, and to Dave for the aftermarket bits available. I may take the plunge and try adding another motor. If it doesn't work, I have another kit standing by. I think I'm going to go for a low key look with this (chrome steelies for the rims, tires from the '32 three window kit, simplistic paint job, etc). @ Harry- If I could own a current generation Mustang GT, the Bullitt edition would be it. I really like the no-frills look of the body but the performance of its GT brethren (and then some!). Thanks again! Cheers, Albert

Where's that bowing emoticon when we need it. That is one of the most realistically weathered chassis/ floor pans I've seen anywhere. Cheers, Albert
