  1. Acetone is considered a "low-reactive" organic compound and is exempted by the US EPA. Even by CARB.
  2. I don't know about other states but there is even the Prop 65 warning label on cars bought new. And it's crazy how many people never take them off the window after they bought them. I see hundreds of people driving around with those stickers on the drivers window. Really?!
  3. Even as I have just gotten back into modeling, I have 3. One waiting to rubbed out and the body finished, one in progress and one I just started the engine on. So I'm assuming that will be how it goes from here on.
  4. There is a fruit booth on Interstate 15 south just before Barstow as your coming in.
  5. I hate to sound stupid but how would I find Greg to pm him? Does he have a web site? I'm looking for an 89 GT myself.
  6. Nice model. I'm working on the same one but mine looks nowhere near as good as yours.
  7. Bill, This is the first time I've seen this thread as I'm new to the forum. Even though I'm new, your build is the most amazing job of modeling I've ever seen and I'm am truly inspired. I read the thread in its entirety and it was amazing. Great work and I look forward to seeing more builds and trying some of your technics to my builds. Pierce
  8. If your going to hang out a couple of days check out the Peterson Automotive Museum in LA.
  9. When the cashier actually took my ID and scanned it at Target, I decided to never buy alcohol there again. As a result, I don't go there much at all anymore.
  10. Since I'm just getting back into it, I'm trying to learn the detail stuff. So far it seems difficult to do engine wiring but then again, I haven't attempted that. So far, I'm going with getting rid of mold lines and detailing panel lines. I want to produce a really nice paint job if I can. I just bought battery cables and stuff so I'll see how that goes and go from there.
  11. Wow! Thanks guys for the welcoming. Just from this post I feel this is going to be a great community. I look forward to learning, sharing my work and getting to know y'all.
  12. I've been away from the hobby for many years. Who knew you could make them with such detail now. im looking forward to relearning the hobby.
