  6. No, water slide decals will not stick to the inside of the glass
  7. Tom Kendall test this on the Alclad. but make sure the Alclad is well cured. it works on the Revell Chrome. this is a enamel clear and you should be able to spray it over the Lacquer. will it keep the gloss or dull the Alclad ? let us know. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003JCN91I?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
  8. great looking KW..
  9. Terry Borchers......STSscalemodeldecals...Email him here... www.stsdecals.com
  10. i use CA (super glue) with a kicker (since the 80's) that way im not waiting hr's or days for the glue to dry. i can move on to the next step in seconds once i hit it with the kicker. i like a thick or medium the best, but i do keep a bottle of thin around and a bottle of debonder is a must...i also keep a bottle of plastruct plastic weld around for strength if im scratch building say like a oil field truck frame.
  11. I use a Q tip or fold up the corner of a paper towel with very little paint thinner (for enamel paint) on it then lightly rub the over spray off. then clear coat.
  12. you have got it going your way now for sure..looking great Tom.
  13. this is what i use...https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CQJG5H8?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
  14. i have used resin parts and body's for many years. all i ever use is Ajax or Comet cleaner..just wet the body or part and with a old tooth bush give it a good scrubbing till the water stops beading off. (you may have to do this a few times) once that happens you know you have got all the mold release off..now not all resin casters use a mold release.
  15. next time you have a problem use what we have been doing cause 3D will warp if left in a hot area, but i never heard or seen any curl up. hold part under HOT water faucet till you think its flexible to straighten out. once you have it straighten out hold it under COLD water in the shape it needs to be..
  16. is he using a UV light to cure his parts ? or maybe hes not using the right material.
  17. very nice. like the color.
  18. you knocked that one out of the ball park. outstanding build..love it..
  19. you got to watch WHO you buy 3D printed parts-body's from. do your research and ask around about the printer. i been buying 3D for about 5 years now and never got a cab like that, but i only deal with people l know. i dont think the guy cured the cab properly.
