  1. i went back and looked at the one on amazon & its 110 volt's..$103.00 is the cheapest one i found with free shipping. the frame (110 x110mm) is just right for all the 3D models i been building that comes with no clear windshield just the one printed in resin to make it from. thanks for the tip Peter

  8. Paystar will look great. i have plans on doing one something like this. if you dont want to scratch build the Crane Cults sells the file to a very nice one. i have not put mine together yet that come with the service bed i got to put on a 5500 Chevy but im guessing its around 6 1/2 -7 inches long. you can buy the file just for the Crane. if you want more info message me..
  9. you have to spray it in very light coats waiting a few minuets between coats. 2 maybe 3 will be plenty...i live right across the state line in Louisiana so i know about our humidity down here. stay safe with all the Hurricanes we having this year..
  10. your welcome Greg..
  11. nice A Car..
  12. i use a lot of resin tires. i use Pastel's to get the worn - weathered look..
  13. Mike some people have no respect for others on here. i see it all the time...your comment is spot on..im gonna have to remember it...:)
  14. these were only $60 shipped..and yes they are some at $100 a set.
  15. your track pads look great, but if you ever build another D8 three aftermarket company's offer replacement tracks for it if you want to save you some time...
  16. i have shipped many high dollar builds..if the paint is cured this should work for you...never use paper towels to wrap a model they to stiff, and never use Bubble wrap as a packing material. first wrap the model in toilet paper. (not none of the John Wayne paper ether its to stiff) Angel Soft will work fine..once you have did this set it in a small trash bag and seal it up...make sure your box is big enough for shipping. buy you some styrofoam packing peanuts and add about 3 inches to the bottom. put the model in and fill up the sides and top well. ( you need at least 3" on the side & top as well) make sure when you close the lid shake the box. it the model feels loose add more peanuts.hope this helps..
  17. looking good my friend..if you want to clear coat the Revel Chrome spray light coats until you get the finish you looking for. let it set a day somewhere in a dust free area then lite coat it with this. always practice on on a plastic spoon first... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003JCN91I?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
  18. mine was one of the first issue but i can not remember if it showed the hydraulic line hook up or not & i could not find the instruction sheet (old age). i think they were pre drilled holes to add the lines just to simulate hyd lines. i dont know if your kit came with hand rails (front & rear) but i had to make mine.. as far as the none skid (black) instead of painting them i used a very thin matt sheeting. if you want to go that way send me your address and ill send you some..
  19. its a Beautiful model once built. the one i built the tires were solid resin & the engine housing was a solid block making it very heavy.
  20. i have washed some like this and put them back on the shelf. just like going thru a car wash..lol..add a little dish liquid to your kitchen sink and fill it up. set the model into it for at least 30 minuets. with a good brush (not hard) you can was the dust away. drain the water and add clean to rinse off the dust & soap. put it out side in the shade if you can for a few hrs. at least it will be clean when taking apart.. make sure you ck in the sink before you drain as some parts my have fell off..
  21. no Jack not gonna make it. sure wish i could be their..
  22. i had one of the kits back in the 80's but ended up selling it. will be watching your progress..
