  1. Brilliant tip! Thanks!
  2. Another withe LFA! Great job! I really love the wheels. Can you elaborate on them? Chris
  3. Thanks Andy, I did use Walthers on this one, and heat. Photo's were taken a little early as I just noticed I did not have the pass. side mirror on in these pics. The decal has settled down some with only a slight wrinkle compared to what you can see here. I think I saw it mentioned here, usning Walthers over the Sol's worked better. To date I do like it better, but I've also damaged a few decals too. Every build is a learning build. Thanks guys. Chris
  4. Completed this one last fallish. Don't think its been seen here. Revell 1970 Boss 302. Paint is Scalefinishes.com Ford G medium lime. Built right out of the box. Imagine what superdetailing could do with this kit. If I build another one(Boss 429) I'm going to wire and plumb. This kit builds so nicely that even any addition should be easy to apply. A few pics. The hardest part was the hood decal which is gigantic. Trying to get it to settle over the crease was a bit tough. It's become my favorite Muscle Car model so far. Chris
  5. Noiw you need a shark to strap to the top! Nice looking build. Chris
  6. Mark, fantastic job on the Lexus! It looks intimidating in the box, but yours and Bob's both look fabulous. I'm looking forward to getting to start on mine. The CF top really adds to this one. Chris
  7. The pictures are so tiny it's hard to get a bead on your build. What kit did you use? Chris
  8. One of my most favorite designs! Beautiful build you have and great save! I have an original still sealed and the re-pop from a few years back that I certainly need to get built. Although I am unsure of the color to this point. Thanks for sharing a great piece with us. Chris
  9. Thanks guys! Jason, that is the New York Auto show car, I don't remember who purchased it, but I based my build off of that car. elan, I had some scraps of SAS CF left and used it on the engine bay per my searches that is how it should be. Not sure if I had the right "weave" but it does add to it. Chris
  10. I'm building mine like the box art. Arancio Atlas from Scalefinishes.com. Using the black wheels. I've already trimmed out the ducts for the kit supplied p.e. As it was suggested already, to help with better realism. I'm happy to have this kit in my collection. I would really like to see the Reventon, but this is oh so close. Now, how about the new or old McLaren! Chris
  11. I saw this car at last years New York Auto show via pictures and knew this is what I wanted to replicate. Scalefinishes.com paints are in Gulf colors with just a touch of orange on the calipers and front grille. It's close, but the wheels aren't right. The wheels were stripped and sprayed with alclad chrome. Interior is basic black. Engine is pretty well covered witht he engine cover. I did add CF to the engine bay where required. This is a great kit that almost falls together. Many parts fit in place without the need of glue. Tolerances on the doors need to be checked all the time due to how tight they fit. Lot of problems reported with doors being a bit tweaked, but some finger pressure on them seems to help. Here are a few pictures of my version with more at hte link if you want to look. Mercedes SLS AMG Chris
  12. SWEET! Love it in white! Did you cut the rear wing out and scratch it out? That really adds to it. Great job! Chris
  13. Matt, nice workon the Uhlenhaut! I have that kit as well and was really surprised at the fragility this kit has. Yours is the first I have seen built. I'll have to keep your comments to mind when I start my build. THe SLS looks good next to it. What paint (color)did you use on both cars? Thanks for sharing! Chris
  14. I've been waiting for someone to show off a completed build. Yours is excellent, even with whatever problems you may have had. It really does look "right". Great job! Chris
  15. Just wanted people to know I've listed some stuff on emodelcars.com. Prices include free shipping for North America. All others please email me for a shipping quote. MY AUCTIONS Don't hesitate to negotiate with me. I'm not looking for any trades right now, just cash. Thanks Chris
  16. What an interesting day. It rained so hard I couldn't see. Cloud to ground lighting half the trip and pitch black. The clouds broke before we got there though and the show went on. Here are a few: The rest can be found at MY FOTKI. Chris
  17. I just went and checked mine to be sure and all is well. Two rears and two front. However, I do have another body in mine. I don't remember having to send for one..... As far as I know Fujimi still does, but you might want to check with the place you bought it from. I went through HLJ and they took care of my problems with another kit. Chris
  18. This year was just as good as always. The weather was a bit overcast and finally chased me and a lot more of the exotics out by around 1 due to sprinkles and oncoming rains. Here are a few pictures with more on my fotki. MY FOTKI Chris
  19. It will be my first time attending. I've wanted to go for sometime and have now gotten the time. Chris
  20. Ahhhh, yeah, more info on that GTO please! Chris
  21. I really like this one! You've been belting them out pretty quickly! Looking forward to the next one. Chris
  22. Curt, Very nice! You won't see that on many tables. I love it. Chris
  23. Mine made it on Monday. I ha almost picked it up at the LHS then realized, I should have had that one and put it back. Good issue. Read it before bed last night. Harry's doing some great work. It does look cleaner and more thought out. Again, I have to complement the last page ad from ScaleMotorsports. A little history on the CF as well as each CF they carry, it's just a great informative ad. Chris
  24. Steve, thanks! I'm planning on Nordicon again this year. Also depending on June I may make the GMO NNL. I look forward to seeing you and the other guys again. Chris
