  1. I'll echo Bob's comments about longevity of the pen. I've probably ruined more than I've had dry out on me. They are great and I believe priced right. Again, as was mentioned, coupon cutting makes the sets and the singles cheap! Both Hobby Lobby and Micheal's offer coupons on a weekly basis. http://www.gellyroll.com/products/pens/pig...igmamicron.html Chris
  2. Rob, I'm a fan of Sony camera's. I've had three of them and still have two. I definitely understand your quandary with batteries. I've also had very good use of Canon and Nikon. But these are DSLR's I was using. If you want just a point and shoot I still think one of those companies will have something to offer with the battery style you want. The other thing to look for is what type of memory it has and how to get your images on the computer. I know the three manufacturer's I suggested do offer a AA battery camera. Just not sure of the MP. The best thing I can say is hit the stores and check out each camera and actually play with it at the store. I was at Best Buy and Ritz camera just about daily playing with two camera's I was interested in. I read a lot of reviews and played with a lot of cameras before deciding. In the end it's your money and for what you want to spend I think you can get it done. Prices seem to fall daily. Good Luck! Chris
  3. James, I really love it. It's so clean and looks fantastic. I like your color combination. My absolute favorite Porsche. Just a real sexy car in my opinion. You did a great job on it! Chris
  4. I didn't realize that kit built out of the box that well! WOW, nice work. I might just have to pick that up now. Thanks for sharing! Chris

Those are great looking Mustangs! I really need to get mine back on the bench! Chris
  6. James, I use a variety of sizes. I took a quick look and I use mainly .05 but I do have a few .005's, either way either size should do you good. I have them in a variety of colors too. They are Pigma Micron brand pens. You can purchase them singly or by an assortment. Right now Michaels and Hobby Lobby have 40% off coupons that will surely cut the cost. You can find these at Hobby Lobby, Michaels or any fine art store. Hope this helps! Chris

  21. Gregg, and news on getting this to more national news stands? I've requested Model Cars magazine at Barnes and Noble a couple times this month already. This same, new, big, B&N doesn't even carry SA, of which I requested that too. What kind of information do I have to give these guys to get Model Cars to them?? Chris

    after the rain

Great pictures! If you can photo shop the other stuff out they would really look cool. Thanks! Chris
  23. That's such a pretty car. Elegant, fast. You built it like the box art, which looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing! Chris
  24. Thanks Bill! Here is a shot of my Miami Vice Daytona interior using my floss and clear glue method: Packages of floss come in over 100 different colors and then some. 1 package of floss is around 39 cents and will last you an entire modeling life. Floss is stranded by three and I pull the strands apart for that extra thin piece as you mentioned. Anyway, the results on your car are fantastic. I'm from the school of, "whatever works, go with it"! Chris
  25. Beautiful paint! It looks great. Thanks for sharing! Chris
