  1. Considering where Google Maps led me one time, no thanks!
  2. Now considering my recent experiments with Google Maps, it may not be that excellent.......don't want to end up going to where it "thinks" an address is vs where it actually is.
  3. Speaking of styling cliches, it does carry a bit of that Coke Bottle shape that looked so good on cars like the '68-'70 Charger and the '68-'82 Corvette, and even still evident on the current Viper, Vette, and even some Euro cars like a number of Astin-Martins and Porsche Panimera..........then again, that could just prove that some things just don't go out of style
  4. Not sure which would be a bigger tragity, ruining the look of that Lowey design with that maw, or ruining the Packard name by putting it on something that looks like that.
  5. Seems like around here, the Fiero would be more rare than the stock T!
  6. But for the size and power of those engines, those were pretty small openings.
  7. '58 Olds 4 door, that a rare sight herr in the US any more!
  8. You can tell by the shape on the bodywork after the b pillar and shape on the roof.
  9. If you look at a lot of these modern cars with grill that big, it seems like half the openings are blocked off and/or blocked by crash structure (like Audi), it's almost like we're going back to the era of tall, Superfly grills on most of what was being built..........only with an hideous and anime-ish twist?!
  10. Very true Art, but then again, not only did they actually look more pleasing to the eye, some of those bumper and grill assemblies probably weighted as much if not more than some of the other cars on the road in the decades that followed!
  11. Geez, who thought that thing looked good enough to actually build?!
  12. I do really like the looks of those, wouldn't mind parking a stripped down, all black, AWD S next to the one above........someday.
  13. That's what I like about my 200, it kinda harkens back to the ox yoke grills on the early 300s while still being small enough to not be overpowering. It also kinda looks like a drunken grin at times, but considering how much corn licquer it's consumed over the last 3 years, it kinda seems right
  14. Don't see why not, that's 3 potential kits, 2 with viable licensing partners, from one tool!
  15. Feeling better after my irked post Friday night, although I did lose 3 hours or my 6 hour shift yesterday. Think I slept as much if not more between friday night and this morning that I did for the rest of the week combined!
  16. Not too sure how big you can go gun wise before the recoil knocks the truck over........
  17. The same way as a big rig, school bus, or large box van, they go extra wide.
  18. IIRC, those were early 3rd gen cars, most had a 2.8l then 3.1l V-6 or a 305ci V-8 that made a screamin' 170hp. I can't imaging how bad that 4 ran in those cars, it was probably a danger to the motoring public at large!
  19. I'm suddenly getting the chills, this may not be good. Now that things are settling down and Mom is doing better, this cod be a prelude to me getting sick
  20. Not your generation, and it likely predates my generation, I got carded 20 years ago when buying paint at a WalMart, luckily I was 18 at the time and had my license with me.
  21. That makes sense, sadly.......
  22. That's good to hear with all the complaints I've seen a out it, mostly from people who might be coming from 4 speed autos.
