  1. Didn't happen today, but I've seen this happen way too many times in just this century and it just flat pizzez me off! http://safr.kingfeatures.com/idn/cnfeed/zone/js/content.php?file=aHR0cDovL3NhZnIua2luZ2ZlYXR1cmVzLmNvbS9SZXRhaWwvMjAxNS8wNC9SZXRhaWwuMjAxNTA0MTRfOTAwLmdpZg==
  2. Yeah, that's not so bad! IIRC, the BFG's I bought were their brand new to the market, ultra high performance all season tires and only paid $138ea. (Tire Rack wanted $153ea!) then got the next size wider with the same series sidewall (so it's taller and wider), plus road hazard and a much needed alignment. I don't envy my sister one bit on her '14 Challenger though, bring a "Super Track Pack" car, it's got hi-perf summer tires in 245/45ZR20, the 235/50ZR18s I just bought and the 235/75R15s on my Jeep are way cheaper! One funny thing though, when I had my Jeep reshoed at 144k, I that alignment had been the factory one and it held fine and had remained within spec....and independant suspension is supposed to be better?!
  3. Well, here's my 200 with the new BFG rubber, whaddya think?!
  4. Give him a some time Harry, they's still working on the Model 3, which should be a 3 Series fighter and I think it's supposed to be in the mid $30k price range.
  5. How much did that run you, I dropped about $800 for both on my 200 yesterday, although I can't complain, considering how much better the new BFG's are vs the factory installed GY LS2's, it's appearing to be worth every penny already!
  6. Reminds me of when my Jeep blew a ATF line to the radiator, to steal a line from Mike Finnigan, it looked like a double homicide!
  7. Been putting a few miles on those new BFG's Igot for the 200......sooooo much better than the factory LS2's,
  8. Spotted a really nice Healey in the lot at work today, as well as a Shelby Z Daytona at the tire shop when I went to pick up my 200 on my lunch break........with 225 section width tires and a plate that read "Q N Cudly" ......if it is anything like my Lebaron GTS Turbo was, it could as cute and cuddly as that wizzed off grizzley bear that you're trying to wrestle
  9. Yup, stock was 225/50TR18 Goodyear Eagle LS2, the new ones are BFG's brand new (as in, new to market as of last week!) Sport Comp 2 All Season in 235/50ZR18. I did break them loose leaving the gas station after work and while they made some noise, it didn't screach like I was torturing the neighbor's cat either as the Goodyears did!
  10. Got some new rubber mounted up on the 200 today, with alignment and all the associated fees, it came in at just under $800! The factory installed hockey pucks: And the new BFG's!
  11. I was just talking about how the box art looks compared to the real car! Looks like the only thing close to right is the hood for the specific parts, and is it me, or does the roof look too tall?
  12. Is it me,or does that kit look like an modified early G-Body Dodge Daytona Turbo nose stuck on a Mercury Capri-Stang?
  13. Check this out! http://cumminsengines.com/cummins-ethos-28l-engine-demonstrates-50
  14. Just because you have no interest doesn't mean the rest of us don't, I kinda wish the AMT kit of the Eclipse Walker drove in the first movie had a decent engine, I really wouldn't mind a modern domestic 4 cylinder (it had the 2.0l Dodge Neon engine in it, IIRC) in kit form, and the other musclecars would make great kits too, even if you had no interest in the imports.
  15. Had a near miss with both a deer and later, another drunk driver!
  16. Kinda curious where the whole 55w/65w rule came from as well as why all of such restrictions were put in place at all.
  17. What happened to the Roadmaster Charlie?
  18. Why do all modern motorhomes have such hideously busy paintjobs done in such boring colors?! The above GMC is been updated in such a way that it has one nearly as bad as most new ones. Granted, I prefer the looks of "Ground Force 1", preferably without all the needed extras for Presidential use But still, this is just has the wildly tacky paint scheme of a Minitruck, just done with mostly boring appliance car colors!
  19. I was thinking cooling system wise, the 4.0l XJ's tend to run a bit hot.
  20. Why would they need a different radiator? If the carbed I-6's were like the 4.0l's I'm used to, they would need a good cooling system that would work well for a big V-8.
  21. Nah, I think it can be fixed so long as the chassis and body shell aren't too badly hacked up. Lose the fenders, remove the stupid stuff from the grill, maybe make sure there isn't anything stupid going on between the front and/or rear tires, then finish the bodywork and paint it.
  22. Finally found my long list Robogrip pliers, been trying to find them for months and was begining to think I either left them somewhere or they were stolen!
  23. Wonder if Barris would claim it as his?!
  24. That whole V-8=high hood made no sense to me either. Between, my Parents, Sister, and Myself, we've had four 4.0l XJs and a 4.0l ZJ and those I-6's are long, tall, and HEAVY engines!
