  1. If it's the same 6 speed auto that my 200 has, may not be too tough to do. That trans has a 4.127:1 first gear and with the 3.6l in and cheapo factory tires on my 200, not lighting them up is easier said than done at times!
  2. No wonder CBS's tv schedule didn't look right for tonight!
  3. Did you get the 2.4l or the 3.6l in the Journey?
  4. Those Bentleys do nothing for me, kinda reminds me of a partially used bar of soap........and yes, I've seen a few in person. Now the AMC Eagle wagon Kit Basher mentioned would do more to keep my attention
  5. Eh, not like they aren't repairable though, now if they had been buried in a collapsed structure after said structure burned with a lot of heat.......
  6. Surprised they aren't making it some sort of Chevy powered rat rod.
  7. What's worse, it'll probably be mostly blamed on the shop that fixed the vehicle, even if they were forced to do the shoddy work by the insurance company.
  8. Maybe they had to fix the body work after a towing mishap, that had to be one heck of a sketchy towing arrangment!
  9. Looks like I will be seeing my Jeep and snow........
  10. Honestly, I prefer the original movie paint, the later paint and that restoration paint looks more like somebody got lazy and painted the entire front clip separatley, then painted the doors off the car.
  11. Don't understand why they don't chop down the quarters and maybe the fenders if they're going through the effort to butcher a sedan that much. At least shortening the quarters and bringing the bumper closer to the rear wheels and maybe shortening the front fenders and bumper in the case of the '57.
  12. Beat me to it Harry, it started right about the time I got home from work.
  13. Wait, they were towing a B-Body on an open trailer with a hacked up A-Body?! That would be worse than towing my 200 with my Cherokee!
  14. Got a Blade MCX2 and have been thinking about building a small (230-250mm) quadcopter. I tend to stick with ground vehicles, for the most parts.
  15. Yup, State Farm did that to my parents and Dad's family after one of his brothers rolled a '65 (possibly a '64.5) Mustang. They didn't just drop my uncle, but my other uncle, grand parents (who had an apartment building at the time), AND my parents for everything! I also have a cousin who put a wood burning furnas in his garage for him and his boys to use as a rec room, and when his insurer found out, they dropped him when his next premium was due.
  16. A Viper powered Jensen Interceptor?! Geeeeeesus!
  17. I'll have had it for 12 years in June and only have just shy of 164k on it now http://blog.fcanorthamerica.com/2012/06/12/joining-the-high-milers-club/
  18. Had two bozos in a beater "tuner" CRX pass me in a construction zone that is limited to one lane each direction and no passing......and in a curve.
  19. Saw that black and gunmetal GMC Typhoon again today!
  20. I do see some late A-Body Cuda in the back of the roof on the clay mock up, although I do think that the rump needs to be chopped back by about a foot to make the lines look right for a Jensen.
  21. Wonder what would happen if you stuck a mail Jeep front and on a CJ or YJ, other than confusion on the onlookers part.
  22. I don't know, 540k, some of which was off road, can't be THAT fragile.
  23. https://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/meet-the-couple-that-drove-a-540-000-mile-dodge-intrepid-to-every-county-in-the-lower-48-161344757.html
