If you look at a lot of these modern cars with grill that big, it seems like half the openings are blocked off and/or blocked by crash structure (like Audi), it's almost like we're going back to the era of tall, Superfly grills on most of what was being built..........only with an hideous and anime-ish twist?!
Very true Art, but then again, not only did they actually look more pleasing to the eye, some of those bumper and grill assemblies probably weighted as much if not more than some of the other cars on the road in the decades that followed!
That's what I like about my 200, it kinda harkens back to the ox yoke grills on the early 300s while still being small enough to not be overpowering.
It also kinda looks like a drunken grin at times, but considering how much corn licquer it's consumed over the last 3 years, it kinda seems right
Feeling better after my irked post Friday night, although I did lose 3 hours or my 6 hour shift yesterday. Think I slept as much if not more between friday night and this morning that I did for the rest of the week combined!
IIRC, those were early 3rd gen cars, most had a 2.8l then 3.1l V-6 or a 305ci V-8 that made a screamin' 170hp. I can't imaging how bad that 4 ran in those cars, it was probably a danger to the motoring public at large!
I'm suddenly getting the chills, this may not be good. Now that things are settling down and Mom is doing better, this cod be a prelude to me getting sick
Not your generation, and it likely predates my generation, I got carded 20 years ago when buying paint at a WalMart, luckily I was 18 at the time and had my license with me.
Maybe, but without the makes your eyes burn cinnamon flavoring............that said, on scent alone, I think I would rather have a shot of that over a hit of paint, especially if I can strain the gold out of it before drinking it
Honestly, I've heard the flake makes it more effective............do not want to know how all those tiny metal flakes affects the respiratory system when breathed in large quantities though.
Got my Vaterra Ascender K5 Blazer built from a box of parts to a point that it looks like a truck as of this morning.
Seen somebody complain about how bad the instructions for this kit were on R/C Crawler, but considering I did all but the wheel and tire assembly and install at night between 10pm and 3am over about a 5 day period with minimal problems, I'm guessing there were more issues with that builder than the kit.
