  1. I actually met the owner of the Charger used for that ProModeler kit at least 15 years ago at an all Mopar car show. At the time he was still pretty mad at RMX over that screw up. When they originally measured the car, it was during the more vintage car friendly weather, but when he got the call that they needed to remeasure the car, it was November and he had already put it up for the season as well as took the full coverage off of it for the season. He had to drag it out with only partial insurance coverage to their facility for the measurements while they all stood out in a parking lot on a cold, grey November day in Chicago. Apparently the guys from RMX that were redoing their work were also kinda mad, as they too were stuck out in those conditions.
  2. I like the new look personally. Still screams Mustang more than the Fox bodies did, yet isn't the insult to the name that the II's were.
  3. I have to agree, the overall shape is more like the originals, but also looks like one that has seen some customizing too.
  4. Notice he's a Cubs fan too
  5. At this point when it comes to finding stuff on the internet, I'm almost impressed to see European, bought, or even company spelled right............
  6. "Not only can Challenger run 10s on the drag strip, but you can also fit your family and drive cross country." Um.........judging by the R/T Classic just bought by my sister, that would have to be a small as in young family!
  7. Well, we might be getting a cold spell next week and this is Chicago.........never count anything out!
  8. I've seen a handful of little British roadsters on my way to work already, even though it was raining pretty hard at that time?!
  9. Yeah, it will be soon enough.
  10. Are you sure that typesetter didn't have a less than pleasurable prior experience with this Fick character
  11. Could be the driver felt like living dangerously today, Vipers are known to be somewhat homicidal
  12. Would they even have him back with the way he left? I'd be tempted to tell him to tell him to shove it.
  13. Honestly, if somebody (listening Mobius?) Were to kit the basic car, then who ever wants one could build one
  14. What kind of fire truck toy were you lookking for, a friend of mine makes wooden toys, including fire trucks! https://m.facebook.com/pages/CHs-Little-Woodshop/535754019804224?refsrc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fsearch&_rdr
  15. I don't have a problem with different scales (although it's been some time since I was on one last...... ), plus it's AMC and an AMX, so I'll take it!
  16. I do use the S-Health app's pedometer while on the clock, doesn't work so good with the phone turned off. Honestly, up until this nonsense started, that wasn't a problem. If they needed to get ahold of me, the store was usually called or they sent a text if it wasn't important. Otherwise if I used the phone, it was work related. Some of my friends that happen to also be customers will call or more likely text to see if we have something they need or want, or to send me a part number to order for them. I even will get texts asking for R/C related advice or tech info.
  17. DANG YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I'm having trouble breathing!
  18. The people who have been spam calling my cell phone, claiming to be with Blue Cross Blue Shield for health insurance, or the Warranty Department trying to sell me an extended warranty for my 200, all while I'm working, usually helping a customer at that time on top of it!
  19. I would prefer the hiding hard top convertibles too, a solid, knife proof, well sealing, folding metal roof just seems like a wise choice.
  20. I've seen 2 different Tesla Model S sedans (one red, one green) and an late 60's A-Body Olds coupe.
  21. Check out his YouTube Channel Harry, Leno has some great car and motorcycle videos on it!
  22. There is something truely fantastic about the sound of any of the high powered American V-8's, no matter if it leaves a factory here in the States or down there in Austraila. I was playing Forza 4 some last night and driving a Holden HSV W427 (in under describing it, a Z06 engined Pontiac G8) on there and it was just such a nasty sounding, tail happy, tire smoke generating monster Couple times I got some good drifing scores just trying to get it around corners too
  23. What would make that different from the Lebaron or New Yorker of the same time period? The Lebaron name was on both front or rear wheel drive platform over a 15 year period with those cars being coupe, convertable, sedan, hatch sedan on cars that didn't really share that many of the body lines from one body style next. Same with the New Yorker, had it on compact, fwd, 4dr sedan as well as a "full sized", rwd sedan at the same time.
