  1. sorry, accidentally quoted myself instead of editing my last post
  2. Nope, If bigger wheels mean bigger brakes, I'm all for it...........especially on high horsepower, 5000lb+ cars and SUV's! I wouldn't mind both on my Jeep in all honest, a little bit bigger rim means a little less sidewall to flex during cornering and should allow for better cornering ability on top of the better stopping and heat dissipation the bigger brakes would allow for. I wouldn't go any larger than the 17's like your Mustang has. I've seen XJ's with 20's and they don't look even remotely right, 18's look ok, but that big might be kinda pointless on it.
  3. Well, now that w00t is out of the way, what's leet?
  4. The A-Team van was a modified reissue of the AMT Chevy 125" wheelbase G Series cargo vans, which included the original Vantasy (with custom grill), Candy Van, all of which are based off the original AMT Fire Chief Chevy Van kit.
  5. I'm hoping the only difference will be the box art and decals, but they probably put the rear plate back on the driver side back doors and the body molds did need some repairs around the roof and drip railings.
  6. St. Charles Illinois HobbyTown USA, now on Rte 38 at the corner of 38 and Randall Road
  7. And that kit is the basis for the '98-'02 LS1 Camaro kit too.
  8. That's what it is, I at least used to have one (not sure if I still do) and it was molded in that same ugly shade of yellow.
  9. Wow, that interior blew me away, fantasic work!!!!
  10. Good, we should be getting them at work soon then!
  11. I would have to agree with the General being top 3, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was theeeee top tv car either,I'd be willing to bet that more people world wide would recognize the General than would recognize the early Batmobile, Munster Cars, or the Clampet Family Olds for that matter.
  12. Just discovered I have a current Z06 Revell/HotWheels snapper, now all I need is Alclad or some BMF..........................
  13. Seams like the answer to the question nobody asked to me.
  14. They're going to do a passenger version of that hideous thing?! BTW, That Nissan van is supposedly based on the Titan truck platform, I know somebody who's folks h ave one of those pickups, attimes it can't pass a dwalership without stopping to get fixed.........
  15. Wow, that is honestly the first time black convertible model looks worse than the 4dr....especially with the top down!
  16. That Ron, would be my next question, but you may want to keep an eye out for it next time you're out my way, that McDonalds is right between the old and new locations of my store
  17. I don't know Rodney, considering they don't look good with a roof and 4 doors, I can't imagine getting rid of the roof and two doors helps things any.
  18. It had a religious sounding vanity plate on it so it had to have been in the driver's hands for a while now (at least 1 month or two by my guess). I don't normally like posting license plates on line, be it mine or not, so I took measures to distort it using the photo edit feature on the phone I shot the pics with. I normally don't care much for the Murano, I've always thought they were ugly from the name's introdution, but this just made it seem worse One thing that is funny though, I think when the top is up, it's at tall as my unlifted Jeep Cherokee, but with less ground clearance than the Jeep is
  19. I saw this a couple weeks ago and wasn't sure if I was actually seeing that right. It appears to be a new Nissan Murano 2dr convertible.......when did that happen
  20. Don't have a clue
  21. I'll be honest, I'm not sure how willing I would end up being in buying the current cars that are still partially MB either.
  22. I think it's based off that principle, they even a glow in the dark wrap!
  23. It's either a paint that comes out like chrome (like Alclad) or a foil wrap (like BMF) Jim, and I gotta agree with the wheels, those should be chromed too!
  24. I was digging around for more info on the car the other night, sounds like they'll be offering the options in an Ala-cart manner instead of just options packages that not everybody might want. I'm kinda hoping that they'll allow a basic, stripper model to be ordered with the best available drivetrain and suspension!
