  1. Sorry to hear he passed on. BTW, that Deuce 5 window is sweet looking too!
  2. Wayne, if the insurance on that was in any way comparable to what my '85 Lebaron Turbo cost me when I first got it ay the age of 18, I couldn't blame you! Luckily I didn't need to pay full coverage on that car, liability cost me $1900/yr to start, then dropped down to $1500/yr after I turned 19........if I had gotten full coverage it would have been $3200/yr, and I only paid $2300 for it
  3. Werecar Bender had to be inspired by " The CAR" and of you pay attention to the werecar that hit him, it appeared to be Plymouth Fury
  4. Definately real, look at all the holes around the roof that would be microscopic on a model, if even possible.
  5. I bought it because of all the kustom goodies in the kit (the reel to reel definately reviels the kit's age though) and it being a vintage kit that I couldn't afford if it were closer to being new.
  6. Looks heavy, but pretty sturdy.
  7. Trundle front suspension?
  8. The first thing that crossed my mind when I heard about Green Bay's slaughter..........................................
  9. Problem around here isn't just the weather, it's the massive amounts of salt used to combat ice on top of it. Somehow my '98 XJ has stayed amazingly solid so far (I just finally noticed what looks like the beginings of rust bubbles in the rockers this summer) but the '90 Dad and the '92 my Sister had werein horrible shape when they were scrapped, you could see inside the rockers and the quarters would let sunlight through.
  10. Unless the Bears are stomping the Packers, I could care less.........unfortunetly, I work with two and we now have a TV with cable at the back of the store that football gets watched on........wonder if I can watch NASCAR or ALMS at work this summer then
  11. Not really Rodney, they pretty much all rotted away from around here years ago.
  12. So long as it's 1/25 like the Gremlin, you should be fine, they would have been the same motors in the real cars.
  13. The way I understand it, the guys who own it are night club owners and/or promoters and model rail roading was a shared hobby of theirs. I guess they starting building this for fun and thought it might make a good side business too, so they opened it to the public.
  14. Can you give us a report on the Dart while you're at it please?
  15. That would be better than having to clean bird poo off the top in July and August O_o
  16. If the 258 in that thing was like it's 4.0l offspring in the Cherokee and Comanche, it was probably hard to keep up with till about 40 or so
  17. Bought mine tonight, a customer and I were geeking out over it and the Gremlin
  18. Detriot is too far, but Dad and I are planning in hitting the Chicago show during the week. Could get expensive next month though, my Sister and I are talking about going to the Museum of Science and Industry the week before.
  19. They were in the Candy Van IIRC, I think they were a mid-later 70's issue addition.
  20. DOes that mean it might be worth getting then Dan?
  21. I was going to shovel the drive since it wasn't even an inch deep at the time.............got out to the garage and found that backing the parents van up and getting the snow blower out was going to be less work than just trying to get to the shovels. Some friends out in Virgil (near Maple Park) and I are planning on racing our R/C's this Sunday in one's back yard and one sent me a text message while I was out clearing the drives (did the neighbor's too while I was at it.)........ He texted; "Hope ur ready for a snow race."
  22. Loks like they've cleaned the tooling up some, and I kinda dig the extras too. Still kinda wish they could have left the A-Team specific body parts and wheels in it too though.
  23. Diggin' it so far!
  24. I likw how that's turned out so far!
  25. Does this count? and yes, that is hearse body and yes, It's r/c too.
