  1. So long as it's 1/25 like the Gremlin, you should be fine, they would have been the same motors in the real cars.
  2. The way I understand it, the guys who own it are night club owners and/or promoters and model rail roading was a shared hobby of theirs. I guess they starting building this for fun and thought it might make a good side business too, so they opened it to the public.
  3. Can you give us a report on the Dart while you're at it please?
  4. That would be better than having to clean bird poo off the top in July and August O_o
  5. If the 258 in that thing was like it's 4.0l offspring in the Cherokee and Comanche, it was probably hard to keep up with till about 40 or so
  6. Bought mine tonight, a customer and I were geeking out over it and the Gremlin
  7. Detriot is too far, but Dad and I are planning in hitting the Chicago show during the week. Could get expensive next month though, my Sister and I are talking about going to the Museum of Science and Industry the week before.
  8. They were in the Candy Van IIRC, I think they were a mid-later 70's issue addition.
  9. DOes that mean it might be worth getting then Dan?
  10. I was going to shovel the drive since it wasn't even an inch deep at the time.............got out to the garage and found that backing the parents van up and getting the snow blower out was going to be less work than just trying to get to the shovels. Some friends out in Virgil (near Maple Park) and I are planning on racing our R/C's this Sunday in one's back yard and one sent me a text message while I was out clearing the drives (did the neighbor's too while I was at it.)........ He texted; "Hope ur ready for a snow race."
  11. Loks like they've cleaned the tooling up some, and I kinda dig the extras too. Still kinda wish they could have left the A-Team specific body parts and wheels in it too though.
  12. Diggin' it so far!
  13. I likw how that's turned out so far!
  14. Does this count? and yes, that is hearse body and yes, It's r/c too.
  15. Yea, great day to be off from work.......guess it's about time to clear the driveway now...........
  16. It's here, oh joy.............
  17. Mine's in at work, just got to wait a couple days to buy it.
  18. Sorry about that, seemed to happen as soon as I logged in too ....................................................
  19. Hopefully I'll have some before the week is out.
  20. There's an interesting suggestions about 4 posts down on this forum thread (it is from a sibling magazine to that other mag though) http://cs.trains.com/trccs/forums/p/102695/1194232.aspx I'm sure there's larger beans or even beads out there to use. Just can't think of anything usable at work right now outside of Woodland Scenics EZ Water pellets, which are more of a yellowed clear material, but can't sayif or how well it will take to being painted.
  21. Can you show a picture of the driver side? If it's got about 1/4"-1/2" between the bottom back corner of the side door and front of the rear wheels opening, it should be made to look like the 125" WB models. It does look a whole lot like the AMT van, but the WB might be shorter and the vent windows are part of the glass instead of the body on the AMT kit, plus the gas door area just doesn't look right to me. Could be like the Palmer '40 Ford that Lindberg now sells, a reasonable (but not too great) copy of the AMT kit.
  22. Sadly, I'll bet most of the ones that these laws were written against are likely close to my age now.
  23. I was wondering that, seems like a good reason to refuse to me.
  24. I keep seeing more and more of that car and hope they have some at the Chicago Auto Show to have a seat in!
  25. Not at all, bottle and spray paint, thinners, model glues and cements, and canned air can all cause a "high" just like drugs and alcohol can. Did you give the cashier any kind of attitude, give somebody an attitude and you will get it back, no matter what they do for a job.
