  1. Considering Alfa and Ferrari are now part of Fiat, call it a family resemblance The more I look at that door scoop and the way the vent exits into the fenders, I wonder if it's being used as a source for some additional rear downforce since it sweeps up and over the rear wheels Honestly, I like it's looks better than most modern Ferrari's too.
  2. Model, now what it is why they actually made a model of it is a defferent story.............
  3. Don't know if there was a factory crew cab offered, but I don't know of any extended cabs that weren't more modern custom jobs either. Wouldn't be surprised of there resin ones available in both styles though.
  4. Did the Manta Ray predate the Hot Wheels toy brand?
  5. Futuristic Multi-Duty Vehicle.........so does that mean it's cross between a SUV and a Dust Buster?
  6. Wow, it looked beautiful on my smartphone, now that I'm on a desk top it looks even better!
  7. Maybe one, but wouldn't take special order one to get it like I did the Gremlin and Chevy Vans.
  8. Very neat looking build!
  9. Very nice finished product, can't wait to see that paint in the daylight now too!
  10. I did read reviews, as well as the comments by those who have driven and even bought them stating the reviewers were either full of it or questioning if the reviewer actually drove the car.
  11. Don't know about Harry, but I sure ain't complaining
  12. It's at the county fair grounds on Manchester in Wheaton, Joseph. If you take 88 west to Winfield Rd., turn right and go north to Rt. 38 (Roosevelt Rd, and yes the same that runs into Chicago), then turn right heading back east on 38 until you get to County Farm Rd and turn left (only way you can turn too btw) and head north to Manchester, which will be the next major intersection, turn right onto Manchester had head east a short distance. The fairgrounds will be on the left hand side and the show has usually been in the big brick building.
  13. To be honest, I'd love to get my hands on a 200 Touring with the new V-6 (the pricing for what I'd prefer isn't at all bad), and seems to return more than respectable performance numbers (mileage included) and would make a nice fair weather driver. Not saying my Jeep will be going away if I can get one, but something more effecient will be very nice if the gas prices go to $5 a gallon.
  14. I gotta work, otherwise, I would be there!
  15. That sounds like some of the Postal RHD conversions I've seen on line, James. On the Cherokee's like mine as well as some of the Subaru's, they could be ordered RHD like ones being made for overseas markets, but IIRC those were very pricey. This is a newer XJ like mine (but in a lower trim level) that has been converted in what should not only be a correctable manner, but adaptable to a twin control car like you mentioned. http://cache.jalopnik.com/assets/images/12/2006/02/rh_drive_cherokee.jpg Now here is a purpose built, '97-'01 Postal XJ http://en.visonerv.com/cgi-bin/md/M10955/s5.pl
  16. I took driver's ed in the early 90's in suburban Chicago, only had the second brake pedal on the Corsica and Tempo I drove......as well as a useless passengerside mirror. The instructors had a habit of adjusting that mirror for their use instead of our use. Helped teach me how to drive a car with no passenger side mirror though.
  17. I like the way you laid that out!
  18. It's rarity, I think there were only a handful of HemiCuda converibles, then it's triple black, and then if it's an even rarer 4 speed model........... In other words, it could be as rare and the Mercedes that this thread was started on!
  19. I'm sorry to hear about this Darin, my condolences go to you and your's!
  20. I beleive the MLB Chevy Bigfoot was a one time only promotional thing, although I think Chandler is a Ford man through and through. How many other guys would have switched brands after having what what Ford did to them sponsorship wise several years ago.
  21. Looks good Dave.....and Dang it, you gave me an idea for the stalled Revell '63 snapper Stingrays I started several years back too! BTW, Isn't that Jungle Jim Vega on the market again?
  22. Drew this up a few months ago for insperation on the two kits that I own. It's chopped with a laid back windsheild (instead of stretching the roof) and sectioned enough to eliminate the hood vents.
