  1. I've had to do the front pads on my 14 year old XJ a few times over the last 8.6 years, the rotors were replaced twice (under recall at 66,600, then again north of 140k) but with it nearing 157k.....it's probably about time to replace the factory installed rear brakes..... Luckily I bought the parts to replace all but the parking brake cable (which we should probably do to...) and backing plates a few years back. Now that I have my 200, we can take the Jeep off the road for however long it takes instead of trying to hammer through it as quick as possible so I have it to drive to work the next day.
  2. I'm surprised that a model company didn't already make the Torchwood Range Rovet. How popular was that show overseas?
  3. That was weird, wonder why it double posted like that.
  4. Yea, I was thinking '70.5 Camaro in the nose and '68-'69 AMX from the cowl back. Yea, I was thinking '70.5 Camaro in the nose and '68-'69 AMX from the cowl back.
  5. As did the original Barnibus from the Dark Shadows TV series.
  6. That's pretty wild, and slightly Chevy looking........
  7. I'm guessing "home made" o_O
  8. Heck, my sister ran into a classmate last week who is in the process of buying a house in Wheaton for less than I'm paying for my 200!
  9. I actually used one of those computers my freshman year in highschool Andy, two years later the school had bought the early modern Windows computers..........
  10. $7,000.00 for a diecast!? I couldn't make enough to buy that from selling my Jeep!
  11. If we're lucky, Round 2 will do that at some point!
  12. I'm posting from my Galaxy phone while at Hobby Lobby at the moment (sadly, no sales on styrene) and used to be able to do some posting from my old Sanyo flip phone too. I don't use the desk top much, but there is stuff that can still do better than a phone though.
  13. Found this by accident the other night while watching a few videos from a guy who made large scale wooden bodied RC "scalers" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoxIDpf84RY
  14. I snagged the Mopar Accessory book for the 200's when I went too look at them a few weeks back prior to buying mine and you can still buy a Mopar Parts Bra for the car! They also offer an "Ambiant Light Kit", which are LED's that go up behind the dash and and light up the footwells in any of 8 user chosen colors....... I do like the door sill guards with the Chrysler logo stamped into them as well as molded cargo tray though! I think that fad has finally died around here, those aren't as common as the used to be. Did nearly fall over the first time I saw one of thoee Buick crossovers (I think it was the Azztek sibling one) that not only had the portholes, but had them in the right place and may have even had the right count (3 per side......hopefully it had a 6 in it) too!
  15. That's a good looking Silverado there Nick, how solid is it?
  16. I'd love to get one of those for making masks for my RC stuff!
  17. I'm just shy of having put 100 miles on the car and still have just short of 3/4 of a tank left out of 16.9 gallons and so far love driving it more and more every time I drive it! Had a friend, like George, thank me for buying American and liked the over all look of the car and really liked how the driver seat felt........think he may want to see me tweek the car a bit too Another friend (and customer from work) also really liked the overall look of the car, including the roofline (yes, even the roofline!) and generally thought it looked Classy too!
  18. Got the temp. insurance card before I left work today so I took the 200 instead of my Jeep. My last fill up with the Jeep was returned a pretty decent 16.3mpg.......if the mileage computer on the 200 is to be believed, I was getting anywhere from 23-23.9 on the drive to work!
  19. If that is anywhere near the size of the old 21st Century Soldiers 1/6 tank we had at Toy's "R" Us, you're looking at around 3'+ in length and at least 2' wide. It should be compatable with the old school GI Joes and Barbie Dolls too
  20. Congrats on the winnings and good luck with that tank........or would that be good luck findung someolace to put it when it's built!
  21. Just talked to my insurer, they have been notified and the insurance paperwork will be on the way. Thanks Charlie!
