  1. Gotta wonder why there aren't more modern cars like this in one form or another, I think that alot of the Snoozebox Buicks would have made decent late model Kustoms if done correctly
  2. Now that this is over, I have to ask Mark, where you still with the company when this deal with Volga was penned?
  3. That's pretty clever there Silken! Even luckier here Nick, We didn't loose power at home or work That was one nasty storm though, not as bad as the one a few weeks ago, but still bad!
  4. I've tried with RC cars.........I'm half decent at flying into myself with them
  5. I've only had two I've nearly frustrated enough to send flying and that was a long time ago. Now if I'm working on somehting and drop a small part or an important screw or nut on the floor, then I say things that can't be posted here I have to agree that if something's going wrong, step away, especially if it's late at night just go to bed and start fresh the next day. WOrks well on styrene models and RC stuff
  6. Just found it and you ain't kidding Mark
  7. As of right now I have no idea what it is, but I certainly have an idea of what it looks a whole lot like
  8. So long as it doesn't do what the last in car compressor I had in my Jeep did, the flapper valve broke free and jammed the piston near TDC..........right before the old 70k mile airshocks popped
  9. It was a Posie's rod, I think the Extremeliner is what it was called. IIRC Testors offered it in diecast form too. Edit: found a pic of the real car! and here's the only pic I could find of the model, but I should have one around here somewhere that I can photograph later.
  10. Weird, Dad just emailed me the YouTube like of that video, look for the video of them printing a functional ball bearing All it's missing is the cage that keeps the bearing balls from rolling around loose between the inner and outer races
  11. Lol, is that another plastic car modeled in metal
  12. I gotta agree with Real
  13. Looks cool, there was a shirt at Road America last weekend that had a car almost identical to that on it!
  14. They might not even last long enough to get deployed if that nozzle get hot enough
  15. Funny you mention this, the airbag light on my Jeep keeps flickering and I lost the cruise control and horn a while back. Apparently on the '97-'01 XJ's and the TJ Wranglers use some sort of clock spring wiring harness in the steering column to control all three and they tend to go bad over time Worst part is that this "clock spring" is buried in the column under the steering wheel, which means that airbag and then the steering wheel have to be removed to get at the part. I could live without that airbag being armed, but I would like to have the cruise and horn back, plus I don't know if it will pass Illinois emissions with that being out of spec Yea, gotta love the sound of that thing when they hammer it
  16. Those make a nice looking build, great work!
  17. X2, wish Round 2 would see fit to reissue all of the old van kits.
  18. Joe Handley

    Smart??

That's a neat looking little build Rick.
  19. Lol, Thanks Chuck! Can you imagine the looks if the to were parked next to each other on a contest table, peoples reactions alone could make for some good entertainment
  20. See what I mean
  21. Nice, I did that with one back when they first brought that kit out, it still gets the looks when people see it http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v698/bjoehandley/Plastic%20Models/FWD%20Impalas/Rat%20Patrol/?action=view&current=HPIM2492.jpg http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v698/bjoehandley/Plastic%20Models/FWD%20Impalas/Rat%20Patrol/?action=view&current=HPIM2503.jpg
  22. Either that, or they're trying to tie old cars in with rodents and pests that need exterminating
  23. You know Roger, even for as big as I am, I still fit in those little cars nearly as well as I do my Cherokee What shocked me is that the new Charger R/T's don't have more than an extra inch of "thigh" or shoulder space than those little Fiestas do
  24. I've been seeing more and more of those around the Burbs though Ron, I swear there must be a dozen different body styles for that little car too
  25. Oh no, I'm sure he pays through the nose, even if those weren't his fault, they'll find a away to make him pay
