  1. I saw this link on ChitownRC earlier tonight, he's an amazing diorama builder!
  2. I saw some of the "models" Traxxas had of their 1/16 scale E-Revo and Slash 4x4's a couple years ago and they were obviously made the same way and would could see all of those lines in them too. Looked like it would have taken a ton of finish sanding to make them passible to our standards prior to molding them for resin casting.
  3. Well, I guess men can be secretaries now too
  4. I hope things get better for you spyder!, I hyperextended my right foot getting into my Jeep in 2006 and heard I would have been better off breaking it I don't know how many times! What bugs me is after a long day, especially if it's really humid out, my foot just kiiiiiilllllllls me! I still keep a bottle of Motrin in the Jeep just in case I need some. Holy c r a p, that's one heck of a drive, did he atleast have somebody to drive down there with him and split some of the drive with him?
  5. True, most of the RC's I have didn't cost that much to buy, but that does look like a great kit plus it's no freakin' curbside either!
  6. Wow, that looks like some kit, don't think I want to know what it costs either
  7. That's just plain ugly!
  8. Trust me, with some of the garbage we've gotr on TV here in the States, that show is highly intellegent.....now only if American Idol and big brother had stayed on your side of the pond.............................
  9. Just found these on RCCrawler guys, figured some of you would get a laugh out of them http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1245885/Never-mind-Nessie-Mysterious-Stig-captured-rare-sighting-banks-famous-loch.html http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=the+stig+loch+ness&sll=57.152921,-4.67994&sspn=0.006774,0.020921&ie=UTF8&hq=the+stig&hnear=Loch+Ness,+United+Kingdom&ll=57.225938,-4.572531&spn=0,359.997385&t=h&z=19&layer=c&cbll=57.226015,-4.572421&panoid=q-eHGjhIznTPiNIdCJGfbQ&cbp=12,60.24,,0,18.66 http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=12.322317,40.253906&ie=UTF8&t=h&layer=c&cbll=51.514925,-0.228768&panoid=cRXQyRB9ywmaZVKuBSddWw&cbp=12,146.01,,2,-12.08&ll=51.514959,-0.228567&spn=0,359.99477&z=18
  10. I don't mind a little here or there, but there was one car that has a big enough chunk of paint and bondo missing from the roof that I could nearly lay my checkbook into and have room left over I kid you not, looking at the size of the missing chunks of bondo from the so afflicted cars, there would be big enough bondo to fix atleast 90% warping due to stamping, minor visible cancer, and body damage on my Cherokee:blink:
  11. It's good stuff, just leave a window open and keep the air flowing through the room!
  12. Real, and what an expensive doozy you picked this time Harry
  13. Don't know why, but this is the first thing that came to mind when I saw you pics http://www.uniqueautosport.com/whips/purple.html Good luck witt the project!
  14. Thanks, just wanted to make sure I wasn't seeing things Now that I think of it, makes me wonder about how good the restorations of some of those cars actually was vs how much was being asked for them:angry:
  15. Is it me, or did it look like there was a good amount of Bondo in some of those cars beforehand:huh:
  16. I finally brought this home, it's been on lay-a-way since November! Hopefully I don't end up doing this to it though Dang it, I wish that Round 2 reissued this kit like that instead of the way they did!
  17. I'll be honest, I'm diggin' it, I even like the fresh air induction and wheels on it!
  18. I'll be glad when it's off Speed, I'm sick if this nonsense every couple weeks!
  19. What's left of the snow after a mini heat wave, there was a day or two we got up near 40 last week!
  20. Well George, this is Illinois, with any luck rust will desolve it eventually
  21. Actually Islander, the Dodge and Plymouth F/S vans had that seem in the back as well all the way up intil Dahlmer killed them off in favor of their Sprinter. Ford did do away with that in the early/mid 90's on hte current body style F/S vans though. I still think GM did it right with their extra long F/S (both the old unibody and current body on frame) vans though, they stretched them between their vans between the side door and rear wheels
