  1. Yea, I've work there since 2001 I'm the fat guy who usually has a full beard, glasses, and occaionally longish hair.
  2. Hehe, I'd be suprised if you cruising some neighborhood the western burbs that late on a week night One of the guys at the gym I go to was kinda pissed tonight, he actually slept through it even though he doesn't live to far from Harry. He kinda feels left out because of it:blink:
  3. It was a pretty good shock, I think my heart rate was running somehwere near plaid for about 10 minutes afterwards. I could seriously spend an hour on an elliptical machine at the gym and not have it beating that hard, and I'm well beyond just fat OK, maybe not that far, I live in West Chicago and work in St. Charles.
  4. Well heck Harry, I'm about 10 miles or so south of you
  5. Come to think of it, there was a small one that hit almost 6 years ago (I think it will be 6 years in April) that woke me up, but it wasn't quite like this one. It rattled the windows a bit and that was it. When it hit I thought it was just some jerk with a monster car stereo that decided to go cruising with his dang thing cranked to 11 at 2am
  6. We're all good here Jim, everybody seems just a bit suprised from what I saw on the local news stations this morning, didn't help much that it happend so early this morning One of our customers who spent some time in California after he finished up his hitch in the service (Korea IIRC) drug his wife out of bed and made go out to the car with him just in case since they live on the third floor of their apartment building. It rolled through West Chicago about 4:22am and I first thought it was a strong gust of wind or somebody ran into my folks house, Mom thought Dad rolled out of bed in his sleep, little sister was still asleep when I left for work this morning so I don't know if she felt anything yet. Come to think of it, I'll bet this really should up your friends in Maple Park Jim, that's close to where the epicenter was supposed to be
  7. Just wonder who here in the Midwest felt the quake this morning and how your model collections faired?
  8. Definately use a good primer, the Lexan lacquer paints tend to be fairly aggressive so they can etch into the plastic and hold when the body gets hammered while the vehicle is driving, which can be bad for "our" plastics. I've never used that line of paints on lexan though, so I don't know how they shoot off hand.
  9. Don't forget about the front sheetmetal breaking off the first model year ones if the truck was wheeled much Hehe, sounds like my dark green Cherokee there harry
  10. No, I like the vehicles I've owned to much to do something that stupid with them....................................
  11. Looks good, same with that Axial sitting on your floor too
  12. Let me guess, it didn't help that insomnia much either
  13. WOW, that's one heck of a diecast!
  14. Hope things keep getting better for you then Jon! I'm not sure what was worse when I sprained my foot, stairs (both directions), some of our chairs, or getting onto or off of the toilets at home
  15. How's things going Jon?
  16. Looks good, and I like the way the Chevy truck grill fits too!
  17. Looks good, but I have a really stupid question, what's the coil springs on either side of the transmission for?
  18. Having owned a couple of the Daytona's siblings, I have to say Ditto!
  19. I saw this link on ChitownRC earlier tonight, he's an amazing diorama builder!
  20. I saw some of the "models" Traxxas had of their 1/16 scale E-Revo and Slash 4x4's a couple years ago and they were obviously made the same way and would could see all of those lines in them too. Looked like it would have taken a ton of finish sanding to make them passible to our standards prior to molding them for resin casting.
  21. Well, I guess men can be secretaries now too
  22. I hope things get better for you spyder!, I hyperextended my right foot getting into my Jeep in 2006 and heard I would have been better off breaking it I don't know how many times! What bugs me is after a long day, especially if it's really humid out, my foot just kiiiiiilllllllls me! I still keep a bottle of Motrin in the Jeep just in case I need some. Holy c r a p, that's one heck of a drive, did he atleast have somebody to drive down there with him and split some of the drive with him?
  23. True, most of the RC's I have didn't cost that much to buy, but that does look like a great kit plus it's no freakin' curbside either!
