  1. Good to see you herer Andy, still love that wagon from when you posted it on RCCrawler!
  2. Nice build, kinda miss watching those races!

  4. Can't tell what it is, but it looks gloriously overpowered
  5. Much better looking, nice job!
  6. Lemme get Dad, my grandparents had a '63 that he worked over mechanically and my great uncle did the bodywork on. From what I've been told, it was a real stoplight terror

    Nova

There's something kinda blue haired about that car............................................
  8. I'm still thrilled that somebody's going to be using the tooling, don't even care what they bring out and which "brand it is/was I will buy it if I've got the money just to give them the green to do other stuff! I'm hoping that they can get enough money to buy the tooling away from RC2 and maybe even bring them all back to the States.
  9. Just hearing about this, glad to hear you're surgery went ok and good luck to the both of you!
  10. I'm glad to hear this, I was a bit worried that the tooling would get scrapped if it was allowed to sit for too long.
  11. WOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck on this venture folks!

  13. Congrats Clayton!
  14. That little Scalextric Mini Cooper and the plain white Z-28 two of my crazy ones, the Mini is a psychotic little blur once I added a second magnet and the Z-28 is ballistic on the order of the "Big Red" road race Camaro now that there is a second magnet in there now too. I've got the silicons on order for three of the Petty Cars and on back order for the Mini.
  15. Which one is the Massive Power set? I'm having a brain fart and can't remember for sure at the moment.
  16. You guys may get a laugh out of this, the HobbyTown in Naperville, Illinois had recently put in a slot car track and one of the "kids" (late teens) from local R/C forum who came out for a crawler get-together and ended up playing with the track for most of the day instead! We close at 5pm at that store and he left around 4:30-4:45 and is now considering making his own wood track once he "recovers" from of building his AX10 Tuber!
  17. Wanna make a bet that the lug nuts cause more to replace than the car would!
  18. Let me warn you ahead of time Camaroman, for some reason the Concept Camaro handles like a pig and the guide gets hung up on the small diameter 1/30 curves. I want the Charger 500 street custom from Carrera, and the Orange SUperbird to make into a clone of the Superbird convertable owned by a guy on a Mopar forum I go on.
  19. And I have since added a Scalextric "body in white" T/A Z-28 to my fleet............................
  20. The ones that came with the set are now stick again, I did buy a second of both and modded the Superbird with a couple extra magnets and the Torino has had the magnets moved up front for "dirt tracking" . The Viper has been converted to a drift car.
  21. Well it's offical, I'm hooked on these things now. I started out with the Carrera Petty set, then bought a plain white Scalextric Viper Comp Coupe, and now have a second Petty Torino and Superbird, Carrera Camaro Concept Car, and one of the Scalextric "impact resistant" BMW Mini's.
  22. ###### man, I keep thinking you're restoring the real thing there! Very good job!!!
  23. Incredible builds man, and that's a brilliant discovery on the Duplicolor sidewall touchup paint!
