  2. WHile going through my stuff to sell, I discovered I have way to many empty model boxes, what do you guys do with yours when done with them? These will probably go in the recycling come friday.

  4. Looks like they're not much worse than when I filled up last week, probably going to top it off again tomorrow just to keep the fill up "cheap".
  5. Paid $3.93 a gallon for regular at the Mobil on Rt.59 and Deihl Road last night, half tank just over 10 gallons) in the Jeep cost me $40.01 As I was filling the tank I ws talking to the guy on the other side of the pump and he told me that he ended up parking his BMW for what appeared to be a Corolla because of fuel costs and couldn't remember when he drove the Bimmer last! Fortunetly my Cherokee is paid off and the insurance is less than $600 a year now and my only other bills are my credit card and cell phone!
  6. ######, I'm working down that way tomorrow and wanted to top off the tank again It's cheaper in teh Aurora/Naperville area than it is here in West Chicago most of the time!
  7. Just found this on another forum, isn't this the "trike" that was the insperation for a model build that was in the current contest issue? http://www.rvs-r-us.com/images/trike1.jpg
  8. Sounds like mine, I've got to go to the storage area I keep them in and bring them home to sell in a garage sale next weekend.

  11. I just paid $3.89 for regular on the way home from Naperville today and I've seen it anywhere from $3.87-$3.95 for regular! I only put in about 5 or 6 gallons to top off the tank and it cost me $24!
  12. What's this "constructor" nonsense?
  13. I've noticed that, but if you look at some of the Allied nose art on some of the bomber kits, I'm amazed we haven't had people complain when wandering through the airplane isle. Don't know if the swasticas have been pulled from the kits though.
  14. Man, that grill just looks evil!
  15. Dang, I was surprised the first time I saw a Nazi era owners manual but wow
  16. Thanks guys, I've been thinking about selling most of my collection when Mom has a garage sale in the next couple months. Been thinking about sticking a buck or two on most if not all of what I put out there for plastic, noty too sure what I'll do about the die casts.
  17. What kind of prices have you guys bought stuff for at garage sale and have any of you ever sold kits or die casts at garage sales?
  18. Nice, very "auto show" like.
  19. Dang, what did you rob those wheels from?
  20. Christ, how much are those tires that he's ruining?
  21. Saw a Monogram '68 GTO (orange plastic) that was painted with Outlaw Black Spray from Pactra, it did craze the plastic badly on that particular car. Never tried it on styrene after seeing that, now on my RC stuff.......I've used alot of it and the Model Master Lacquers!
  22. The guys on Roller skates were the ones that amazed me, that had to be tough!
  23. Wonder if we have more coming this way then , plenty of locals whining about this winter as it is.......
