  1. I found them! http://www.missileballoon.com/ I can just see these causing a wreck, mass emergency calls from motorists (kinda like the ATHF thing last winter, only on wheels), or getting ticketed for "disterbing the peace".
  2. Can you see some guy going 100 mph with these balloons trailing about 50 yards behind him? Step 1. Tie balloons to car. Step 2. Drive like a bat out of hell.... Step 3. Watch people freak out !!!! I want one.....baaaaaaaaad!!
  3. #1. Work...might as well since I'm already at the LHS #2. Hobby Lobby, if they have a sale going ot have a kit I really, really need (not likely there....... ) #3. Other LHS's if they have something I'm interested and don't already have (that part keeps getting harder ) #4. Meijer Stores, same applies here as above. #5. Wal-Mart, but they don't have squat anymore.........
  4. Really, then you guys did a great job in paint coverage too!
  5. But it has a Weber Carbed SBC under the hood too One thing I did that I'm still proud of is that the passenger side bubble window wasn't used during the build, I used a 1" or so square piece of the plastic bag the parts came in and CA'd it to the inside of the body so it looked like it had been broken out! That model was built from a kit that's older than me too! IIRC it as a '74 issue called the "Candy Van" (but is still the same as the A-Team Van too)

    41 Woody

That is a very nice looking color on that car!
  7. Here's an update and here's the link to the rest of the pics http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v698/bjo...rg%2040%20Ford/
  8. Wow, nice paint! I thought that was the plain blue plastic at first!
  9. Sofar, it's been shaved, sectioned, slightly channeled, and just chopped with the a pillars leaned back in this lousy photo. I''m just getting under way so who knows what'll happen here......
  10. We've had an adapter track at work from one of the slot car distributers that is made to fit on a Tyco (but will fit newer Mattel) track that has a HO scale road grade crossing going through it.
  11. Very cool!
  12. The second spoiler pics look much better!
  13. Those would make a few good 1:1 Warpigs............
  14. Very nice!
  15. Neat!
  16. Other than the spoiler looking a little out of place (maybe try to get it to fit better...) it looks pretty cool!
  17. Well, I work for a hobby shop so it's nearly 24/7 for me.
  18. Sure seems like it already, I've only bought one, and it sounds like I'm in the minority when it comes to that!
  19. It's a beaut' all right, nice job!
  20. Wondered about that, now I know not to waste my money..........................again
  21. Tom Daniels would be proud!
  22. Brought the battery from the Brairwoody home to try and charge it, alternator is probably dead. The truck does have nearly 200k on it and even if it isn't OE that's not bad. I'm waiting for some more batteries with the new Traxxas connector to come out and try, supposedly there will be some high mAh 7 cell packs coming out around Christmas time! The other one is a WK, I've stretched it with Lundsford Adjustable Titanium Pushrods for the Revo on Savage rod ends and E-Savage driveshafts. I've been bouncing around the idea of making a custom chassis for my Venom Mini-Giant so I can stretch it out and put a Parma Lexan Lunchbox body on it and make a 1/12 scale Quiggly style van and may even be able to cut a lexan LB body into a Tradesman Cab/Chassis based War Pig
  23. Good eye on the Pede, I called a liar once several years ago when I told somebody what it was! No LiPo in it though, those still spook me a little. Even with a Venom 5000mAh Ni-MH pack it's kinda scary to drive, I had to replace my rear Big Bores after striping the cap and body out on one of them yesterday! Got to go, Little Sister's Brairwoody (the wood covered XJ) is having battery problems.
  24. Looks Good! You know Harry, that looks a little familiar! I need to get off my dif and finish this thing!
