  1. They had the full version out for a while, not sure why they even bother with the blue one vs the full version though.
  2. That’s what my brother in law got, the side effects hit him pretty hard, but he’s also in his 20’s and it sounds like the reaction to the side effects may be worse based on how young the recipient it. I ended up with chills the following night after dinner with my first shot then slept it off, so I’m hoping this one may be similar.
  3. Other than a sore arm where I was given it and being a bit tire from getting up earlier than normal, no.
  4. Got my 2nd Pfizer COVID shot this morning?
  5. That looks sharp!
  6. I bought a couple of these back when they came out in purple with green preprinted graphics and liked it other than the preprinted graphics and stupid looking tuner wing. Saw it and one of the Fury kits at a LHS when I stopped to get some more stuff for me Axial SCX24 Deadbolt and decided to grab both, starting with the Concord since it needs less work due to the lack of a “hole” to fill in the hood and build it along the lines of a V.I.P. Style build. I put it together to get an idea and glued the wing in place to act as a filler for the holes in the deck lid to mount it then red red the axle holes since it was still at what looked like the stock ride height. Removed the wing and cleaned up the flash tonight. That said, the drop, wing removal, and low camera angle really make this car look right.
  7. I’ll be honest, that lowering and ditching that stupid looking tuner wing goes a long way on that Concord. A 2dr as a lead sled style could be interesting and easy to do on these!
  8. Picked these two up today, think the Concord is going to be more of a VIP style build and will need to take a look at HobbyLink for their VIP accessories. Now, the Fury is going to be box stock other than rolling stock, May look at Pegasus for those.
  9. This is true.....
  10. IIRC, the car shortage is a chip supply issue and the rental shortage is because rental companies sold off the rentals that were not being used in the last year due to Covid because they didn't want to sit on them...........now they have a need for new, cheap, cars but with the chip shortage, new cars are harder to get and they no longer have a back stock of rentals to fall back on....... Apparently they should have read up on dealerships stocking up on new cars prior to WW2 war production change overs for when they had customers that needed cars during or immediately on hand after the war was over
  11. I hadn’t it much for a few years while Mom was sick and wanted to get out more often after we lost her last January, but COVID hit before I could. I decided that I HAD to this year once the weather got better not only to get use out of them, but as exercise as well.......then ended up in the hospital with MRSA onceI was down to only a couple weeks left of 6 weeks of antibiotics after I got out, I finally just did it and have been out at least once a week the last few weeks. All that said, got new wheels and tires for the 1/24 Axials and packed some tungsten putty into the front bumpers and tucked them in a bit too.
  12. Dad and I took the Axial SCX24 Deadbolts (1/24 scale, though the Lindbergh 1/20 trucks are closer in size) I bought us about a year ago out and ran them on the rocks for the first time, it was also the first time Dad has tried a radio control crawler in probably more than 10 years too! I’ve made a few minor mods to mine like removing the lights and protective hoop from the roll cage, pulling the lights from the bumper (want to put them on the body), removed stickers, then more recently added a better servo and aluminum mount for it, and printed parts from Shapeways to not only lower the battery and ECS/Rx in the chassis but also moves the front axle forward by a couple millimeters. We’re going wheel and tire shopping for them today, they need more weight down in the wheels and grippier than stock tires. Already picked up some tungsten putty for pinewood car racing from Hobby Lobby after we were done crawling yesterday to use for strategic weight placement.
  13. If it’s line the one near me, they have a good number of them, though I’ve yet to see the Rivian built vans around here yet.
  14. Funny you mention that, first time I heard that Celine Dion song mentioned a couple decades ago, I had that same thought, even the music video had that same feel as what Meatloaf 's videos were doing with Jim Steinman's songs at the time.
  15. I don't buy the driverless story, I'd be willing to be who ever was driving got out and ran after the impact leaving the other two behind, I'll bet there was alcohol involved too.
  16. Yet who is going to be instrumental in bring it back too..........................
  17. That’s still about the same, it’s why the Volt had an electric only range of 35-40 miles and the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and Jeep Wrangler 4xE are around the same as the Volt was. Even with only 100miles of range like the. And more recently with the 1st Gen Nissan Leaf going around 100 or so mile on a charge like the early EVs, that’s 3 days of use before needing to plug it in. I’d rather have the Bolt with it’s 250+ mile range, though.
  18. Finally heard back from the rep for the FMLA claim in question, email claims the dr(s) still haven’t sent the certification that they need, problem is, they’ve sent everything they can think of that these people need and don’t know anything else that they can send without committing privacy violations?
  19. That’s a pretty good idea!
  20. That’s what my BiL got the same day I got my 1st Pfizer, sounds like that hit him on on Friday harder than mine hit me. I had chills and was achy for a few hours after dinner Friday night, but slept it off, he may have had a mild fever too, though we were both fine by the time the 5 of us went grocery shopping together on Sunday.
  21. Thanks Bill, I should already have the aid set up for the hospital bill, but the FMLA thing is just irritating. From what it sounds like, I’m still kinda lucky compared to others that have had to deal with for their own claims. One thing that sucks though, I thought that maybe a call to HR might help, so I did and it lead right to the came company ?
  22. My insurance and FMLA people through work, my insurance is refusing to cover $80k of antibiotic treatments I had to have for the MRSA I had over the last 6 weeks because it isn't "preventative care" and had to get financial aid through the hospital to cover it then they sent me 16 invoices for what they did cover, though I need to look at them more closely now that I'm off work..........I think they sent me 4 different invoices in 4 batches or 4 of each invoice. Then there is the people I have to deal with for FMLA, they approved my claim for time off for when I was i the hospital and the week after before I could get approval to go back to work (call center, not exactly a problem there) and did so with no problem other than finally notifying my boss of that 3 weeks after I was informed of the approval. Now for the intermittent claim from the daily hospital visits for the antibiotic kept asking for more and more documentation from the Dr's offices involved as well as me GP, who is not involved, in the treatments, but never said what was needed and from whom, then when I would, I've never get a clear answer plus when it was near the deadline for this, the claim rep was out of office until after the deadline and they have formally denied this claim, which puts my employment at risk. The Dr's offices have since sent in what we "think" they may have needed to fully file the claim and I've sent an email to the rep that I plan on disputing their denial of it since there is nothing on their website or smart phone app to initiate one, plus I CC'd my boss in on it with her permission for good measure.
  23. Is the unibody tweaked at all? If it’s just the fender, door axle, control arms and rocker, those are replaceable. Before we discovered how far gone the floor was on my ‘98, Dad and I were talking about replacing the rotted out rockers with square or rectangular steel tubing and there are even kits that give you the brackets and such, you just need to provide the tubing and welding equipment or the cash for somebody else to do that work for you.
  24. Picked these up at Hobby Lobby today, 40% off too. Other than wheels, tires, and graphics, the GTX appears to be an otherwise straight up reissue. That said, the main image of the cars box art is awful, just awful.
